Hah, finally got noticed I see.
Gin didn't do this earlier because he didn't know you had to grab Kyoka-suigetsu to avoid hypnotoad bullshit.

Wrong, Gin didn't do this earlier because if Gin did this earlier his death would look less ridiculous and Ichigo wouldn't need the "final getsuga tenshou" powerup to win.
I think Aizen just came back too quickly. He should have disappeared, Gin had time to reunite with Rangiku and the Karakura kids, and he basically says "I'll help you escape". Then bam, there's a flash and huge reiatsu and Gin tells Rangiku "Sorry, Rangiku, I guess we won't be leaving together".
He disappears to go fight Aizen, and then that's it.
I mean, it's not too much to ask to have more progression in a chapter than we've been getting. I saw a whole bunch of it in the Naruto thread, where we not only get to see a flashback, we get to see some ass-kicking awesomeness at the same time. Why is that so difficult for Kubo to accomplish?
Gin couldn't have done it earlier anyway, what with all of Aizen's deranged fanboys and girls constantly surrounding him, shouting "Aizen-Sama~!!!" all day. Tousen would have blocked gin's attack anyway, or at least tried to, as he was a good little mindslave until he received his conversion no jutsu from kumamora.
Which marginal character will we see now? Tessai? Kukaku? Nanao? Or maybe we'll finally finish the Yammy fight. Unfortunately, with Kubo taking a week off I'm expecting an entire issue to remind us what's happening in the different areas.
Whatever happens, happens.
Is Kenpachi gonna come in, see Yachiru get killed, come into contact with his sword and bankai the fuck out of Aizen?
or
Is Nanao gonna pop up with some goofy invention from Kukaku, and the little kids from Urahara's shop?
You know, if Kenpachi ends up killing Aizen, I'll be satisfied. Not really thrilled, but I'd settle for it. But Bleach is too predictable to let that happen.
Bleach suffers from having a protagonist that is less interesting than the side characters. He used to be dynamic and cool until around the time he beat his inner hollow in their duel. After that, he's been kind of bland. Even before then, characters like Urahara, Kenpachi, Yoruichi, etc., have all been more interesting than Ichigo. Hell, I find Rukia more interesting than Ichigo, and I don't even think she's that great.
i'd like to see zaraki carve a bitch up. starting with yammi. that would save bleach for me.
It'll have Kenny on the cover, have them fighting Yammy who has grown to the size of a continent at this point, he'll comment to Byakuya, very inappropriately, that "we should have brought a bigger boat", then it will cut to a 10 chapter arc with the kids from Urahara's shop trying to stop Aizen from killing the kids left in KKT.
Infanticide 1~10.
Is it me or does Ichigo get depressed way too fucking often compared to other heroes? The kid got depressed before his dad showed, then after Aizen haxxed his way with the orb and then after they left. Jesus, that's 3 fucking times in the same arc. Jesus, is Kubo really this stupid or is this kid developing depression at an early age...
I'd be depressed too if I sucked as much as Ichigo.
Yea, to be fair, you'd be depressed too if you were touted as the ace in the hole by three or four different captains who said you were on Aizen's level only to have all of it be rendered insignificant.
I predict that by the time Ichigo learns Final Getsuga, he will need something else to defeat Aizen. It will be similar to how Unohana said all Ichigo needed was to be at full power because he was already as strong as a captain with only less than half of his reiatsu remaining.
Then he struggles against Gin. Amazing storytelling.
Remember back when Ichigo was the only one who could beat Aizen because he was the only one who hadn't seen his release.. Nice to know there's a loop hole and anyone could have done it. Maybe instead of pretending to be on his side, back in Soul Society, Gin should have told everyone Aizen's plan, how to get around his release, and then using that info, everyone could bum rush him with the element of surprise. Then we could have been done with this series years ago.
And on the topic of why Gin didn't attack Aizen earlier, my take is that it took him, let's say, 100 years to learn how to avoid it, then another 100 to ensure Aizen didn't suspect him (which apparently isn't the case since Aizen knows all..), and then another 100 to wait for the right moment. Least that's the best explanation I can think of that makes any sense~
Did you just try to insert logic into bleach?
/golfclap
To expand on that; Gin has obviously been left partially out of the loop concerning Aizen's plans and as as far as we've seen in the panels this was possibly the first time Gin could be absolutely sure there was no random hypnotoad bullshit already happening.
Back in soul society if he tried to tell everyone he could have found out that it was all an illusion.
If he tried to kill Aizen he would have gotten in trouble for trying to kill another Captain and his excuse for killing Aizen would sound like a bunch of cockamamie bullshit.
In Hueco mundo? Same reason as soul society for telling the weakness and if he killed Aizen he'd be surrounded by a dozen super-powered hollows.
The arcs after that had him surrounded by people whom could be used as weapons.
Matsumoto fucked him up because she popped in right when he finally thought he was alone.
Wasn't it the captain commander who found out the answer to Aizen's hypnotoadness? Which would mean Gin didn't know how to get around it until he saw the commander fighting Aizen. Least, that's my impression.
no, Yamamoto only realized that if he was actually holding onto Aizen, it wouldn't matter what illusion Aizen put him under as long as he didn't let go.
example:
Aizen: Haha! you are not holding onto me! You are really holding onto Maya Angelou! Why would you kill Maya Angelou, unless you were secretly a racist!
Yamamoto: Oh no! I'm not racist, I better let you go Maya Angelou! Don't worry, you're safe!
Aizen: Haha! I lied! It really was me you were holding onto! But now I am free of your grasp!
What Gin found out, was that holding onto Aizen's sword before the illusion is activated, makes you immune to the illusion. Kinda like how Tousen's bankai worked.
Is it possible to watch Bleach on iPhone with subs on? Just found out that when converted, the subs are handled separately and do not show on the iPhone.![]()
