The only good thing about Bleach is the fights. Most of the major fights are pretty top-notch. Bleach is like the Capcom of shounen right now. Then again DBZ was my first shounen so I'm not bothered by all the flying and teleporting n stuff although it always cool when they break out a kidou every now and then.

With the anime, this episode wasn't half bad. Too bad it's the same old shit. Was Halibel's story this fleshed out in the manga? I don't care enough to go check, but I'm wondering if they just added to it.

Edit: After watching the episode, I liked it. Funnily enough, it also made her seem one of the more fleshed out of the Espade (boob jokes aside). They also pretty much went out of their way to imply she was a VL before Aizen showed up, which pretty much carries over to Stark and Barragan, too. Of course, I imagine some will disagree on this premise simply because it wasn't explicitly stated in the manga.

Matsumoto had been knocked out with kido. She wakes up.

Aizen was a scientist who had made a hogo before Urahara did. His was a failure, no matter how many times he presented souls it would not work.
He even gave it Urahara's hogo to see if that worked. Aizen takes the Hogo from Gin and stabs him.

Aizen says some shit about because he was afraid he was going to die that is how he was able to ascend to a higher being. He throws Gin to Matsumoto and the others.

Gin looks at Matsumoto and apologizes. He then dies. Matsumoto cries.

Aizen approaches them as Ichigo and Isshin emerge from behind.
