Who wants to bet Gin will be back up at the end w/ "Tis only a flesh wound" style banter.

I feel mentally violated by reading that chapter... And I read the spoilers first!
The best part is when you flip a page too far at the end of the chapter and some disgusting MangaStream employee had the gull to have typed out:
"Have you supported Tite Kubo lately? Show your support to the mangaka and licensed distributors by purchasing official Bleach volumes from these staff recommended stores."
If I ever met Kubo with a translator I'd be forced to sit him down and explain to him how storytelling works, and what a plothole is, and what a retcon is, and what obvious plotkai is, then I would have him read his own garbage allowing him to realize how terrible he has become at his own job.
I loved the cover too:
Spoiler: show
It's basically asking you, "man remember when Bleach had an enjoyable story? Good times..."

Wish I had photoshop installed atm, I would totaly remove everything to the left of Bankai ichigo, and put "man remember when Bleach had an enjoyable story? Good times..." Originally Posted by DrRuler

There were brief flashbacks before and after the Hitsugaya/Gin/Hinamori/Matsumoto fight. Gin gave her some food after she collapsed.

It's also basically telling you Ichigo is about to have another transformation. The last image on the left is only his foot...not like we didn't already know it would likely be coming, but I'm sure Kubo thinks this is some amazing foreshadowing. Originally Posted by DrRuler

Aizen trying to create a Hogo first makes some sense in the timeline at least, even if it does seem pulled outta Kubo's ass. Gin dying is a shame and a waste of a great character, but something major did need to happen to get things moving along.
It's a reset to a point and we just (hopefully) will have a decent fight to end this awful arc.
On another note, I'm starting to think Bleach makes a better anime than manga. It's almost as if the anime is trying to bridge in some of the gaping holes that Kubo continuously leaves around. Maybe I'm just numb to it at this point, but Aizen slaughtering his creations didn't feel like complete plotkai this time around.
