Ichigo's friends want to know why he's taller and has longer hair

He remarks that Karin and Yuzu are okay, and also confirms that his father is just unconscious, and tells them to stay there and stay safe

Tatsuki remarks that Aizen has a crushing reiatsu but Ichigo is giving off no reiatsu at all

Gin is alive, maybe just for the time being. He notes that Ichigo has powerful eyes (lol) and that he'll leave Aizen to him

Aizen remarks that since he can't feel any reiatsu from Ichigo that his evolution was a failure, but Ichigo grabs his face and throws him a very long distance away and follows him, saying "he'll finish this in an instant"

Lol... wow, no one dies in Bleach strikes again.. While I'm glad Gin didn't die, really, the strongest villain the show has can't kill off someone still? Oh but he killed Halibel, so guess he's killed someone~

Knowing that this series is supposed to go on for another 2(?) arcs really ruins the suspense though because we all know it's not going to end here..

I wouldn't mind Aizen dying with the Hogyuko becoming some kind of independent entity as a result. While it doesn't give it a whole hell of a lot of backstory, it at least opens up the potential for different tactics than Aizen's usual BS. Well, maybe aside from, "I was using Aizen all along! lulz.."

It's funny because FFV, FFIX, and FFX are all similar. And the never explained those bodies in Syazel's lab.

It would actually be pretty bad-ass if the hougiaosodgnkyou became completely sentient and took over Orihime after Ichigo kills Aizen. Would make it look like Kubo actually foreshadowed bringing her to HM because of her "god-like" powers and give Ichigo and the plot some depth with having to deal with the possibility of fighting their close friend.

Somewhat. I'd be okay with Aizen creating it by accident, a sort of poetic justice for all his fucking around with people over the years. But basically a sentient Hogo could take a different approach to villainy. Imagine an evil Kenpachi equivalent...
