No, I'm sure this is definitely it for Aizen. What we'll find out next is what "it" is (the spirit king, as Urahara referred to him as "it" which means it has to be hollow or some evil-like entity) and why it's important for Ichigo to recover his powers... maybe the spirit king and royal guard will declare war on SS and determine they are all useless if one can become that strong (and maybe they'll start by killing Urahara, who is the one who almost failed to stop Aizen) and defeat the first line of defense... resulting in Isshin backstory and another training arc.

Really curious how Kubo can go from here. A proper explanation from Urahara on what exactly is the hougyoukyou and why Aizen was so heavily invested into Ichigo and Bleach can have a fresh new start.

The Spirit King is not a person. It's some entity, clearly something that Aizen saw as malicious. Probably Urahara too, he just knows he can't do shit about it.

We don't know how many of SS captains are legitimately dead, either. Nor the Vizards.

Then there's Orihime, Nel, Grimmjow (maybe), Yammy, the captains in Hueco Mundo, Unohana..

There's plenty of material, but how Kubo will write it out is something interesting, because I think he wrote himself into a corner with the plot.
