Wasn't it stated earlier in the manga that Hichigo and Zangetsu are one in the same?

They are aspects of his power. When Shirosaki is the form in control it's because his hollow powers are dominant (like when Ichigo was scared of transforming after beating Byakuya and pre-Vaizard training). When his power manifests as Zangetsu it's because his Shinigami powers are dominant.

So all that awesome buildup of Ichigo, and he loses his powers super quick and Urahara saves the day? The fuck Kubo, not that Urahara isn't awesome but you can't just introduce this badass looking Ichigo and not drag out the Aizen beating, we deserve a chapter or 2 of him getting utterly curbstomped after all that happened. Hopefully the anime extends this part at least.

And I don't even believe this is over, I know better after reading this manga for so long. Still some troll left in Aizen.

Oh man, Aizen was a good guy all along, he just wanted the evil spirit king to go down! Who could have guessed? All we need is aizen to turn into the key, and we are set for the next arc.

Am I the only one remembering the Hogyoku is just a giant genie lamp at this point? If it didn't see Aizen as it's master anymore, and Urahara just sealed up Aizen, then who wants to bet he'll just give the lamp to Ichigo and let him have his powers back, or some new super-awesome SSJ3 powers to go fight Majin Buu... err... "The Spirit King"?

I honestly can't believe Bleach might be over.. expecting Urahara to reveal he's the new villain or something. Or, for Urahara to take off his mask and reveal he's been Aizen all along, and when Ichigo didn't think he was under total hypnosis, he actually was since Soul Society and just killed someone else~

Kubo has to be setting up a new villain. That was a pretty climactic finish for it to be a troll. That was the first thing I thought though... if Ichigo was manhandling Aizen without Mugetsu... why the hell did he have to use it anyway? And even then, it didn't completely finish him off... it 'weakened' him so that Urahara's kido could seal him.

Obviously some point will come later in the manga where they will have to free Aizen to help with something later.

So what is the chance that the new vessel for the Hogyoku is Ichigo? Maybe it is so powerful it's not looking for a master but the strongest person to inhabit? Ichigo wasted Aizen pretty badly, and I have a feeling he's going to be forcefully overcome by the demon pebble.

Kinda funny too, since I'm pretty sure the last time he was ever seen in the manga is the episode that just happened in the anime.
