What chapter is this bottomless pit in?
If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's the one around when Ichigo fights Ikkaku and Ganju 'fights' Yumichka. They were pits that they threw criminals into and let hollows eat them. But Yumichka specifically says they stopped doing that because it was barbaric or something.
I'm still bothered by what Souj pointed out.. Rukia giving her powers to someone has a set-in-stone sentence of death, but rebelling against Soul Society doesn't? I mean seriously, there has to be >>some<< consistency >.> <.<;
Evidently people forgot that there was no such thing as a bottomless pit used for execution in bleach.
Ya in fairness Aizen killed the original 46 and that's why a lot of people were very confused that such a harsh plenty was passed down on Rukia. This was back when things actually had proper continuity though. I'm almost 100% positive Kubo has forgotten or could care less about everything that's happened prior to the current issue he's writing atm for his pay check.
In the most recent Bleach 46 Manga (not the shonen jump), on the cover where the author says a few words, basically kubo stated that he had a lot of changes in the "supervisors" (if you read Bakuman you'll know the proper term for those people that goes over the contents with the author, of which the author can't choose who they are), maybe kubo just got crappy ones...
Hmm. Well apparently the statement about the seki-seki was an anime-only plot. There was, however, that tower that was made of seki-seki.
My apologies.
I thought the crime had a definite sentence of death, but Aizen manipulated them into using the Sokyoku since he needed to complete wipe out her spirit or whatever. The issues were that they were using such an extreme method and also no one would listen to any appeals regarding the situation.
Nah. the whole execution thing was probably a possible sentence only because of the sheer power the 42 commanded when it came down to laws. As you've seen in the minus chapters they are overzealous and completely pigheaded to the point of buffoonery but literally none really question their sentencing. The fact that as many shinigami actually rebelled as a result of the execution being scheduled shows just how ridiculously over the top that execution order against Rukia was.

whole lot of nothing, but there it is.
That opening has me thinking that don't plan on jumping to filler and might even catch up to the manga.![]()
Watching this episode reminded me how retarded it is when
Spoiler: show
I mean seriously, it just does not fit in at all with how this sequence plays out for that to suddenly happen. Especially Ichigo's "what are you guys doing" thing >.>;
You were under the impression Aizen was not not using KS.
New OP seems like they going to go through the whole Deicide arc, it has a few seconds of Ichigo with the three month hair length and insinuates pretty heavily Gin dies. I wonder how they're going to explain filler though with Ichigo losing his powers since I'm expecting a Bount-sized arc to deal with the anime catching up to the manga. Shit's always funny when filler contradicts canon pretty heavily.
giant flashback arc to random sidestory? idk
