On break this week as well, curious to see how Kubo basically relaunches the series.
Some rumor going around on 2ch that supposedly came from Kubo's twitter that Ashido will officially be introduced as one of the new captains in the upcoming chapters. I guess he'll finally become canon if confirmed since Kubo has previously stated he originally wanted him to be in the manga as well.
Well shit, at least I get to look forward to Naruto turning into a bigger shit pile.
forgot who said it before if not multiple people saying it, but bleach is better as an anime imo
Seeing Aizen own everyone in the anime for some reason was hilarious to me.
On the contrary, seeing it in print form was like talking to someone in IMs and typing lol but not actually laughing irl.
lol
Anyone who says an anime can't be better than a manga are usually purist fucktards and/or watching the results of poor production and/or censorship.
The anime is always better than the manga. They add filler scenes that, while not canon, sure as hell make the manga more enjoyable than panel-by-panel bullshit.
Even with the whole 'better pacing' argument, I still don't see how all those opponents fell if it was Hinamori they were dealing with. I mean, sure if Aizen was up there too and just did that to fuck with Hitsuguya, but the whole him appearing down below where her body was part is just retarded...
Especially when you take into the whole "I was using my ability the whole time" part.. wouldn't Ichigo have seen what the hell was going on last episode? >.>;
Gah, fucking Kubo.. damn inability to write well >.>;
See, that's the part I didn't get when I was reading the chapter. How the hell did he own all the captains in one hit if it was Hinamori? He's not so fast that he could just own them, fly down, break apart the barrier, switch with Hinamori, throw her up there, almost own Soifon, then get chopped up. Ichigo would have seen him just sitting down there in the barrier the whole time.
It's the one part of this entire manga that completely boggles my mind as to how Kubo could have possibly explained it.
Only thing we're unsure of is when he slipped her in, really. The tricky part in fucking with their senses and such means Aizen could either have been slowing them to match Momo's capabilities as her manipulated her (think a sort of bullet time), or was able to forcibly have her exceed her own limitations temporarily and put up a believable fight to them. Technically, we know people with bankai can call on their shikai without the invocation, but we didn't really have a visual on KS changing to reflect this, if it even does. It's still a fuzzy situation in general and up there with general sharingannigans.
The only thing the anime seems to make certain was that the switch happened after Aizen owned Komamura and the lesser Vizards. As it was shown Ichigo was surprised Aizen easily beat them. At this point, I'm guessing it was when Aizen broke free from Toshiro's ice holding onto his arm and then got stabbed by Kyoraku to when he made his switch. It's the only part that barely makes sense with Ichigo's slowpoke reaction, he forcibly suppressed Soifon's two-hit kill so it had to be him and then there's a short pause with him monologueing like how stupid these people are before he noticed Shinji's inverted world.
I too lol'd something fierce watching Aizen mollywop all the Vizards and Captains with one hit each.
Shinigami Illustration thing at the end was lulz too.
I still can only see the troll face on Aizen when he takes out the two VCs after walking off as Hinamori and revealing himself.
The amount of talking that occurs ruins the pacing. Sure, if it all happened over the course of a few panels or minutes in the anime I'd be fine with it since you could argue that it's all happening so quickly. But since there's conversation during all that, why couldn't Ichigo jump in and be like "guys this is Hinamori, Aizen's down there"?
The answer is, bad writing.
New trailer for the new Bleach movie
Song in the trailer sounds familiar. I know they did an OP for some other anime, but can't seem to think of it. Soul Eater? (music starting @:12)
Yea that is definitely the same people who did the Soul Eater OP.
