I was thinking it was a bad translation, and that it meant he told everyone about his powers- like tatsuki and etc. I guess we'll find out soonish which one it was.

Tatsuki and Karin's new looks are nice.

I know I can't be the only one who disagrees with this.

I think Tatsuki looks entirely uhg/meh with long hair- the boyish medium hair thing she had going was hot, especially when she was kicking ass. Karin and Yuzu are about the same imo.. but I think I preferred their previous look. Also lawl how those 3 are the only ones who changed.

She'll power up to SSJ2 to beat whatever cell knock off is introduced after Ichigo is made useless for most of the Arc via a plot device. In between then and now everyone will fight this knock off and lose, but no one will die.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind Karin being a new, or at least temporary new main character. She always had the stoic personality with flashes of SOME complexity that wasn't just showing angst. Also, a strong female lead who isn't Rukia would be nice. Nothing against the girl, but she stopped being interesting at the end of the Soul Society arc.

Anyway, I still wanna see Chad's hollow powers explained and see whether or not Orihime really does become a karma houdini despite CAUSING MORE THAN HALF OF THE LAST ARC. I liked HER better when she was just a ditzy, love-struck girl who could bend reality, not a waffling princess in a tower.

I agree with wanting to see Karin become something. I dunno why anyone wouldn't want to explore the possibilities with that. Kubo could still keep Bleach going and claim Ichigo's story has ended (although I'm realist enough to know that's unlikely). This is one of those few Shounen's where female chars are actually badass without the author trying to keep some hyper-feminine trait tact onto them, good example being Yoruichi. Unfortunately I can also so a lot of annoying Japanese story elements being introduced with Karin being a main character.

Either way, we'll see what happens from here.

I like the long hair better. Makes here actually look better imo.

Rukia lost her interest about 1/2 way before she was even captured. Then she was interesting for about 10 minutes during the execution scenes. Then she was back down to being the most annoying character, not because of the manga, but because of the anime with her in the fillers only using kido 99.9% of the time. And then when they did bring her back with her powers, she was pretty much useless... again.

What the FUCK happened to Grimmjow. Nel? Peche? ANYONE?! Are we going to get to see time-skip versions of these people?

Also, Ichigo's writing is idiotic. He can just suddenly say "okay, its cool; I never wanted to know anyone that was a hollow or a shinigami anyway; I'm happy to spend 17 months away from all of them, and not once have I thought about any of them that wasn't Rukia."

What the fuck happened between him and Mrs. Kurosaki-Kun? She spends all that time basically falling in love with him, and he spends all that time powering up and going through hell to rescue her again and again, and for what? Not that I need some epic scene or anything, but we haven't even seen her and she attends the same school.

None of this makes any sense, but it is Kubo, so whatever.

Like I've said before in this thread, I recommend everyone rereads the chapter when SleepyFan puts out their translations early to late Fridays. Mangastream is cool and all for getting the chapter out asap, but on way too many occasions their translations become a guessing game to what was really said.

I just compared her to Princess Peach and left it at that. I mean, whenever she actually got rescued, she just got kidnapped again.

Mangastream is cool and all for getting the chapter out asap, but on way too many occasions their translations become a guessing game to what was really said.

I always seem to guess the correct translation, maybe I'm just awesome. :D Mistranslations aren't always bad though. That horrible one during the final fight was pretty hilarious.

New guy is dating Inoue and we find out that Inoue is having a kid, ICHIGO'S KID. He then steals the baby and Ichigo gets his hollow powers back to save his child, which he still doesn't know is his.

When they are fighting, his child is trapped in a space ball and when Ichigo is about to die his child busts out and then head butts the bad guy. And then...

The thing this chapter did miss though was Isshen and Ichigo fighting, that would have made it old bleach.

If only that trans were correct. An arc that mixed the Kubo action of Bleach with the badge collecting of Pokemon would have been epic. Epic.
