Who gives a shit if any of them is alive?

Grim was badass that's why.
Ichigo's new hollow look in the movie

I liked the movie chapter better then the actual chapter. Derp.
Don't read to much into it, Byakuya and the other reapers were originally on the same page ( it is like a poster thing in the magazine), probably just showing all of ichigos sparring partners in order of appearence imo
I think it's hilarious that everyone was talking about how Urahara could be the new villain, and now Kubo seems to be setting it up with not just the end of the Aizen fight but with recent chapters.
He's so fucking clueless he literally is taking ideas from his fans - probably because he's out of them after Soul Society.
I don't think it's coincidence that his story has become so predictable. I think after he set up the Arrancar arc he just had no idea where to take it.
Perhaps the events which led people to believe Urahara was a potential villain were written in such a way as to produce that feeling?
No, we all just suddenly suggested the same thing and he suddenly found the post on some board and lifted it into the story, yeah that's likely.
Similar to Yammy being the strongest, or Stark being the top Espada, or there being a timeskip, or Aizen evolving 900 times, or Gin betraying him and being a good guy?
Yea. Coincidence and great foreshadowing at its finest.
lol.
Especially lol at calling Gin a good guy.
the enemy of my enemy is also my friend. use em til you don't need them, then rape their corpse.
i could totally see uruhara being a villain.
Meh, I don't see him as a villain so much as someone you could probably label chaotic neutral. At worst, he's been blunt with methods when they could sometimes be questionable, but up until now he's otherwise acted for others, even with SS officially ostracizing him. And when you talk Urahara, you're basically gonna have to talk Yoruichi, too. She's either in on it if he's bad or she's a terrible special ops ninja spy bitch.
So really, new guy guiding Ichigo to his place is more to prove he has no clue about his family than to paint Urahara a villain. It's possible Urahara screwed them over in the past, though, and he at least seems knowledgeable about Isshin given the brief chat they had when Grand Fisher showed up in Arrancar form.
Where does the movie fit time wise into the story? or is it just random filler?
I wish EternalSnow were allowed to post again.
I don't.... WTF is wrong with you?
Seeing the new guy talk is like reading Aizen's big revelation in "Deicide" all over again.
see, i'd probably be just as delusional about the 3 new "Mysterious" characters from the newest chapters as some of the idiots in bleach forums and other fansites....one problem though...this is a repeat. Or did no one watch the anime filler? Bounto arc should ring a bell... i'll lol if they turn out to be pill spirits too....I just really really hate repeated ideas like the "Behind you!" bullshit every fight chapter, or every chapter ending in a cliffhanger that makes me facepalm every time.
BLAH BLAH BLEACH SUCKS BLAH BLAH POOP JOKE BLAH BLAH. seriously, can we just take everything after the begining of the arrancar arc and throw it out? keep the espada and stuff, just don't suck at writing a coherent storyline...too much to ask it seems.

setup for the hell movie. fairly interesting. seems next week is back to the main arc.
The last part being the special chapter section was pretty cool. This saturday is the movie right?
