Wot, 10 years? Obviously Kubo loves to troll IRL as well.
2-3 Years. If Jump doesn't give him the boot anyways. Then again there is shit like DB(Z) and Hajime no Ippo...

Kubo will make it 20 years if he felt like it. Hajime no Ippo is the perfect example for this nonsense. People like to crack on Kubo but Morikawa is the original troll with his trolling abilities far exceeding Aizen.
To this I agree. And yet I still read Ippo as well, lol. What's surprising is that its obvious to anyone with half a brain that he writes himself into hella corners, to have given himself a 15 year timeline... actually dude just decided this bs on the fly, lol.
The entire Aizen scene getting locked up makes so much sense now. Weird feeling he's coming back as a good guy soon.
Kubo should recoup his writing style then. And stop throwing away awesome characters to fit his new storyboards.
Why the fuck would someone want to write an anime for 20 years? Eventually he'll get stuck into a corner even the biggest plot hole couldn't fix.
At the pace he's going, sure that seems plausible.. but fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuuuuuuu... Isn't it only supposed to be two more arcs with this current one about Ishin's past being short? Assuming short is like 2 years (going off this past arc taking what, 3 years?), the last arc is gonna take 8 years?? Also, does Kubo not realize he can't keep things consistent across even a year? Gah, and you know what, in ten years, we'll all still be reading this crap >.>;
Biggest plot hole = Bleach. The entire anime is a massive plot hole.
And Bleach isn't even in the same universe as DB(Z), so I doubt it'll be given that much of a leash. We aren't the only ones who complain about Kubo's ability to troll and/or forget most of his plots after six months. Japan hates it a ton too. Granted I don't understand how Bleach is consistently in the Top 5 of SJ's rankings.. I guess Japan's like us too. We hate it, but keep reading hoping something will change, lol
Probably because the majority of Bleach readers are <16 and don't understand what the word 'plot' means; they just love Orihime, tits and testosterone driven speeches about protecting THOSE HE LOVES. Who am I kidding, we all love tits.
Wow, remember when we used to always use small text like that, didn't even know it wasn't possible anymore. I guess we have to use spoilers now to achieve the same effect.
Y'all need to stop reading Sankaku Complex. No series has ever gone 20 years and Bleach isn't about to set that record. Kubo was joking. Even if he thinks he's 'halfway through the story' the declining popularity of Bleach guarantees it doesn't have the legs to go another decade.
Berserk started in 1988.
Though that isn't a weekly manga. nor even monthly half the time.
Spoke too soon I guess. Still pretty sure Kubo was joking.
Kubo's pretty full of himself, even if he can draw kick-ass scenery.
He just needs to stop putting blank panels in of wasted potential so that his story can progress. This new arc might actually be interesting if it didn't suffer from the same tired "LOL AND NOW FOR MORE BLANK PANELS" syndrome that the entire arrancar arc after Grimmjow suffered from.
Berserk's hiatus frequency has gone way up since Idolmaster came out, and with Idolmaster 2 coming out in february, Kentaro Miura might as well end the series now.
A few other series are ongoing for 10+ year, but I think only Ippo's the one that runs weekly.
Just a reminder that (thankfully) there's no chapter this week.

Interesting ability they have.
