I had a different reaction to 'omg hottie.'

It was refreshing to see someone, ANYONE in Bleach not taking themselves so grimace-inducing muscle-tightening seriously 100% of the time, for perhaps the first time since Rukia and Kon were drawn in the same frame. It's almost like we're back in Oh Right It's A Comic Book Land.

I'm going to give Kubo the benefit of the doubt and assume when spirit links disintegrate and they turn into hollows it can shift the hole of where the heart use to be. If not then hollow/arrancars like Grimmjow had their hearts above their penis.

I'm also glad about the OMG HOTTIE bit. The whole I hate/love you female character type is annoying as shit.

I dunno. At some point you realize your expectations have reached zero, and pretending there's a new depth of disappointment when all disappointment feels more or less the same gets you nowhere. It's clear that Kubo has not broken the horrible horrible habit of introducing a host of new characters at the expense of developing existing characters, so my hope is tempered with no small amount of "Oh, Kubo..." but I can at the very least enjoy what little fun he puts back into the series. Feels like I haven't cracked a smile reading Bleach in fucking forever, and it's a nice surprise that he can still do that after 5 years of Aizenquest.

First Kubo says Chad's and Orihimes powers came from the god-device, and now it suddenly comes from one of their parents getting attacked by a Hollow before they were born?

Lmao, before the god-device it was because they were constantly in close proximity to Ichigo's overflowing reiatsu.

I liked it as well, But that's most likely because I usually like characters who act like that.
