First, I apologize but I am just now entering this thread and haven't read any previous pages. Frankly because 652 pages to go through seems a bit overwhelming to review.

I have been following Bleach since it's release where I read both Manga and watched the Anime. The Anime died to me with the ridiculous amount of fillers it started with and continued solely on the Manga. Where I'm at right now is

most current Manga chapter where they put Ichigo in that chicks play house to fight the Yakuza guy in the stuffed animal to help him regain his powers.

At this point I think they really should have let the Manga end with...

Ichigo butt raping Aizen and losing his powers and continuing a normal life

I'm kind of disappointed with the direction of the Manga now but will continue reading to the end of the current series to see if it is still worth continuing to read.

Bleach started out meh, then showed potential, and then kept screwing up everything it did. I continue to read it just for the lawls. The last two chapters alone are gold. RASEN SWASTICA, RASEN TENSHOU, and SIMBA- I mean, ICHIGO! REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE~

I don't know that's a bit bleak of a look at bleach but then again I started with the anime. Everything up until the end of the soul society arc was as good as most action based animes. The big problem was it was like it had only planned up to that point and didn't really have any good ideas for Heuco Mundo. Remember the first few times they showed what seemed to be Heuco Mundo? That place looked fucking scary and even if you look at some of the earlier stuff in bleach like Inoue's brother coming back that shit was creepy. Kubo should have went way way darker after soul society rather than just turning it into another DBZ power up fest. I could be way off base but I honestly think he just ran out of ideas and went with the safe formula that has been done to death.

Anime should have ended after the Soul Society arc imo. As much as I loved Hollow Form v2 Ichigo vs Ulq and Final Getsuga Ichigo, I would have gladly given them up.

I agree in a sense. Bleach took a turn like Naruto did. When Naruto first started it wasn't as "Kiddie" like has been. Up until recently it belonged on the WB with the other garbage.

I could see them replacing her because of her losing her arm against Barragan, but yeah, unless Kubo somehow "confirms" it within the manga itself later, another silly filler captain arc seems... silly.

That is until Orihime brings her arm back, and the Vaizard kids entire lower body and everyone else who got destroyed. Unless they go the Star War's route and just make mechanical limbs.

Hiyori was apparently patched up by Unohana, and the damage itself was scaled down in the anime, I think. I guess Orihime could whip out the dragon balls, but I think Soifon would be too stubborn to accept it.

Maybe we'll be lucky and it'll just be some stupid filler where Omaeda thinks he's gonna be promoted and daydreams it all before Ichigo finds the enchanted fruitcake again.
