maybe its like Chad's fight in Heuco mundo (sp?) when he was fighting and said each punch was like a rough welcome home, maybe full-bringer pulls out spiritual energy slowly?
but when taking damage maybe it draws it out to the surface sooner

Also, Ginjou's reactions to all of this stuff are very quickly erasing any thoughts of a twist with him being a villain, for now.
