Who's the bear? Guess that's the old 11th squad captain? Seems really weird that Kaien or w/e (Rukia's sister's husband) is in shadows in that picture.

As far as Grimjow being dead, I agree that he is a pointless dead end in the vein that from now on, he'll just be another scrub (like Renji), but at the same time, so will Halibel so I'm more annoyed about her being alive still than Grimjow being dead. Does the book say anything about any of the other characters that vanished after that arc -- like Nel or Stark (can't remember how he died..)?

@Guitarman, you don't need to see Jushiro's VC, it's Kaien Shiba. For whatever random reason (probably to foreshadow his premature death, or even his similar "I-Don't-Give-A-Fuck" attitude that he and Ichigo share), he's not shown.

Weren't they ranked based on power..? Why is Yammi's dog ranked higher than Halibel's, Nel's, Wonderweiss and 50 and 61 ( who I don't recognize..)??

If anything, the higher the number, the stronger they are.

only the Espada are ranked in power, 1-10 or 0-10... w/e
11-77 (WW being the last created), are numbered in order of creation.
100+ are former Espada

and 50 I think is Noitiorra's fraccion, but it was translated Tesla
61 is probably 1 of Barrigan's fraccions. I don't remember any of their names, but I want to think that maybe it was the drag queen guy.

looked it up on the bleach wikia and the drag queen's name is Charlotte Cuuhlhourne

That's assuming they're even used in the story again. Given that we didn't even get closure on the hollows that survived, for all intents and purposes, they might as well all be dead until they are used.

Also to be fair, Halibel was a lot stronger than Grimjow and looking back on it, the spots that Halibel was attacked by Aizen can be argued as to whether they were fatal blows or not. Grimjow was severely weakened from his fight with Ichigo before he got owned by Nnoitora. Logically it makes sense that she'd be more likely to live than Grimjow.

Also Nnoitra's fraccion snatched up Orihime right after Nnoitora slashed Grimjow so it can be assumed that she wasn't able to get to him before he died of his wounds.

Stark was the coolest anyway.

What I want to know his how the hell are all these other characters are being killed off offscreen, but Hinamori has been viciously diced up and stabbed like 3 times and is still alive.

So I stopped reading Bleach when Ichigo was sucked into the doll house and had to fight the pig doll thing to have him get something or other wasn't paying too much attention to anything while I was reading. Anyways whats been going on with Bleach? Did it turn out to be an Aizen illusion yet and Ichigo was really just standing there watching everyone take turns stabbing Momo?!

does it say in the data book who the two bodies we're hanging in the 8th's species room? i know one of them was the moth/butterfly girl but not the other one (could presume it was the typhoon espada i guess)

and how do you know that? obviously your andwer will be because of the silhouette, but there's nothing atm to confirm or deny.

So has anyone else benn keeping up with the filler arc?? Watching all the characters going at it full power and interacting is cool.

That said, the only real reason I mentioned the filler was for our Kenpachi fan club, because the only thing funner than watching ken-chan fight is watching ken-chan VS ken-chan with no eye patch and two hands.

Yeah the filler arc has actually been pretty good so far. I loved the way both Kenpachi's were straight up not fucking around and took off their eye patches lol. Can't wait for tomorrows episode.

Not that big of a deal I admit, but Bleach's fillers have always been hit or miss. Where as in Naruto's are fucking unbearable to the point no one watches the anime anymore. Just saying, it's a really interesting filler lol.

You should at least watch the Deicide (Aizen) arc, it was done very well, if you ask me.

Up until the end when they retcon the plot to give Ichigo time to participate in filler hell
