Oh, good point. I didn't see that part.
Pretty bad ass chapter actually. I'm so confused...
Badass? What was badass about another nonsensical power up? Or are you talking the bluff that we all knew was coming
For a second I seriously read that as "Sharingans"Nonetheless, there's still some shenanigans behind Tsukishima's implied ability, what with him dicing up Orihime's melons, no damage actually being done, then some kind of lingering mindfuck. It might not be Aizen level hax, but it has potential for some drama within SS (and maybe we'll actually get to see Unohana fight like Kubo promised years ago). For whatever reason, though, he has an interest in Ichigo, and that's something also needs explained, even if it's just a herpderp "I wanted a strong opponent!"
Really good chapter I must agree. This is the level in which things should be happening, honestly. The chapterd before it was bullshit and made no sense at all-- they could have skipped straight to this.
^ have been tired of bleachsucks every post as well for months. There is like 700 pages to this thread, I wouldn't be surprised if over 350 pages was bitching/complainint/im-not-reading-this-any-more etc. Posts should be related to chapter/speculation. We've been reading this for how long? Should be used to it by now, get over it, dill with it.
Either way, this chapter is our usual Ichigo backed into a corner about to die, hears his friends are going to die, and gets a powerup because of it ala dbz/etc but I did like how Ginjo went about it.
You say all that yet here you are in the Bleach thread.
The only way this manga would be successful is Oda to take over the storyline and leave Kubo do the drawing haha
Maybe instead of giving Ichigo power-ups, someone should teach Ichigo how to fight.
I have to admit, this chapter was rather good. Lawled at kubo's trolling with the cliche villain comment. It might just be the same old shit he always does, but meh at least it's interesting.
Kaylia, as a cynical asshole myself (yes, SP reference!), I find it much more masochistic to actually try to defend many aspects of Bleach.
Sure there's many aspects where it's just so horrible you can't defend it, but most of the people on this forum bitch about everything so there's a lot of stuff that can be defended!
Oh, I know what you mean and I've done it plenty of time before. It's just that calling this chapter good undermine the very definition of the word.
You can laugh at Ginjo's act, but what he did was exactly what almost everyone who trained Ichigo did before. Was Kubo simply taking at job at his own villains and character? Possibly, but I doubt it is the case considering how terrible he has been. And even if it is, the author aknowledging that his storytelling his terrible and cliché doesn't make it any better (even if it is funny).
Kubo acknowledging that his storytelling has been terrible doesn't make him a better writer. It just means the only idea he can think of now is to make references to himself instead of tell a damn story.
You guys realize he wasn't making a self-reference right?
Having a character call out a cliche is a cliche.
so I stopped watching when all this full bring **** started... any reason to start watching this again?
