In all honesty I grin every time I see it drop. However One Piece shocks the hell out of me with its constant first place ranking. I wish I could look past the art to read it...but god damn its like rinsing my eyes with acid.

I was kinda expecting Ichigo's boss to reveal that she had some kinda power too, especially right after he said something to the effect that she had no idea of the existence of reapers, hollows or fullbringers. I guess she still could be something, but it seems like she could go the way of Kukaku and Ganju just as easily and really have no impact on the story from this point on.

Dramatic chapter! I have enjoyed the last few but this one has been the best as of late. However.. still no mystery shinigami. Way to go Kubo! High five! >.>

Oh and speaking of boobage in this chapter. Karin has gotten well endowed fast.

Wasn't Hitsugaya one of the most consistently popular characters in Bleach? Seems Bleach has lost WSJ popularity by not having much fanservice or screentime for youth-identifiable characters for so long, concentrating as hard as it did on emotionless walls crashing into each other at glacier speed (ichigo vs. hogo-aizen). Seems Kubo's trying to bring back all the younger characters, humor and bowling-ball tits that grow readership with the villain/protagonist reset rather than force people to remember five years' worth of character relationships. By changing so much even all the merchandising can change. I note with interest that every fullbring is essentially a toy (and in two cases, ACTUAL TOYS). I'm waiting for Ichigo to find out the one guy not under hypnosis is Kon (yay more plushie toys!).

The only optimism I can dig out of this rather cynical analysis on Bleach's reboot is that it is a new direction and new is always interesting, even if Kubo will probably troll the shit out of us with Aizen v2 in the end.

99% sure it's Unohana.

2 things that bug me about this: 1, it's Aizen hypnosis hax all over again. 2, Ichigo keeps reverting back to pussy mode during this arc's fights. He went through all that shit in the aizen arc, became stronger than all the rest, yet he fights like he never learned a thing. (referring mainly to his training with ginjo and the like).

It bothered me as well. Ichigo know exactly what is going on, and he already dealt with troll before. I don't understand why he freaks out.

If I forgot everything that happened before, sure, it's not too bad. It just weird for ichigo to react like this after everything he went through.
