This is part of his problem. Back when Bleach was one of the Big 3, it was the most "serious" of the three, but still the only one without any actual deaths in it.

Rankings reminds me of the critics crap people brought up with RT in the Transformer's thread. Fuck 'em. Either like something or you don't. Just looking at a wiki on Jump, it seems like they have 20 series going, probably more on top of random one-shots or whatever. Bleach dropping to 6 or lower doesn't even correlate to a death knell as some of you omgthissuxbutikeepreading-'tards hope for weekly.

Personally, I have to LOL at Kubo having 10 more years of plot. I don't doubt a good author could pull it off and then some, but I wouldn't exactly call that Kubo.

Someone above was saying Bleach is in the BOTTOM 5, which I assume to mean 10-15, so they're not far from being cancelled, especially if the editors believe Bleach is done and Kubo would be better creating a new series.

Being in the bottom only matters if you are not a well established series. Bleach still out sells higher weekly ranked titles in volumes, and as long as it continues to sell it will keep running. Its been going for far to long for a few bad months to end it so quickly, what is going to happen is his editors are going to be harder on him and try to get him to change the plot around until he goes up in rankings again.
