You might be right but I think its a weird move on any editors part to support or push for the story to change tracks this much. The fullbrings just barely fit in to the bleachverse, and Ichigo's new superheroes costume definetly doesn't.
What ever Kubo does he is going to get stuck with low ratings, I think its more about people being upset over how the last arc went than what he is actually writing right now.
Or maybe they're upset that a worthless character like Halibel is kicking back drinking Mojitos in Hueco Mundo while Grimmjow died off-screen from his wounds.
Okay, I have thought up a good way this whole arc can be saved!
Spoiler: show
Why do people want shit cancelled when they can just stop reading it? I still enjoy Bleach, incoherent story or not, it's still worth the free 2-5 minute read each week.
I also don't understand how some people can't accept Halibel surviving over Grimmjow. She was the 3rd Espada who barely got a flesh wound from Aizen only after fighting ice boy. Grimmjow was the 6th Espada who barely lived after fighting Ichigo only to get one-shotted immediately by a stronger Espada.
a slight cut to the shoulder vs losing a lung, yes in bleach flesh wound = death
but i agree with the whole 5 mins every wednesday enjoying the art work (stories crap atm but it'll get back to been worth while)
wasn't it only 2/3 months ago people we're nutsucking naruto for been shit and this week its just "wow epic rasengan guyz i love naruto again!" fucking weeaboo's
lol I explained this shit a few pages back and it got ignored.
Also if this arc is as short as I think it might be, I have a gut feeling that Tsukishima is not the real villain, maybe a rogue shinigami at worse. How often do you have a villain that's about as young as the main character? Otherwise this whole arc might as well have been a filler arc.
We don't need Bounds, we don't need Fullbrings. I don't mind new characters but at the very least do something with them or atleast write them away properly when their time is up. He could keep manga fights short (maybe 3 chapters MAX for the smaller fight, 5 chapter MAX for the more serious fights), then write up baller-assed versions for the anime that are like DBZ episodes long and use that as filler to keep the manga ahead.
The end of the Aizen arc could've been written away with the surviving Espada wanting to figure out where to go next and starting over from before they met Aizen which would've allowed them to have a solid ending with the chance of being used again in the future instead of being needlessly ambiguous because Japanese like being gripped by the balls with poorly written suspense for some reason. Not really a mind-blowing ending but atleast the readers can focus on what's going on now instead of what happened a few months ago.
It's like this guy barely gets by week by week so he can't actually review his shit and revise it.
normally a term used for people that like to act/enjoy something Japanese when its really cool/popular
since most of us do come under that term i do like manga for the art which normal gets the "why are there people like you in the world!"...its drawings i'm going to like the art smart ass
The term gets thrown around for stupid reasons now. If it's a JRPG or anything Japanese...it's 'Weeaboo' to those people.
Was less a question of the definition, but an example of my fondest memory of it's usage. Hence the link to PBF and that comic. :D
Re: Souj's post on the previous page> It's scary, 'cause I can seriously see that being the case. D:
I thought the first page was hinting towards Ichigo's father's Fullbring ability. I at least assume that's what the spirit sword in his hand was.
Anyway, I bet the next few commign chapters will be a twist where it is revealed that Tsukushima is actually the good guy.
If Isshin is a Fullbringer (on top of being a Shinigami), I will stop reading Bleach. That would be the ultimate jump-the-shark moment and there's no way anyone could justify that to me. Ever.
I suspect the sword is the result of whatever Isshin and Urahara (and mystery person) have been working on. I briefly thought it might be Isshin's zanpaktou full of all his reiatsu, which he would stab Ichigo with and we're back to ep1, etc.
Well - he could be the last Shinigami they did it to, which could also justify how Tsukushima could be potentially good in a plot twist. Perhaps he really IS Ichigo's cousin (hence how they could find a Shinigami who had lost his powers), and Tsukushima fake killed him for whatever reason to protect him and Ichigo from Ginjo or something.
Iunno, it's just brainstorming stupid ideas that would fit Kubo's way of thinking...
I already fixed it last page!
so i guess you didn't like Vizards then Phoenyx since you can't be a Shinigami and a hollow D: get your head out your ass and let him tell his badly told story
