Well maybe I'm not so sure I understand it correctly. The way I saw it the drug enhanced his mind/senses so much that he is able to perceive the tiny fractions of a second of time as it passes. For ex, instead of a normal person feeling a minute to last for 60 seconds, with the drug that same minute is like 999999999999999999 micro micro micro micro etc seconds long. Instead of feeling 60 time units pass in a min he feels a much much larger amount of units of time pass making time appear to be passing slowly.

He basically made it so that Syzael perceives so many minute fractions of the moment of his death-- something that he should only feel within a second to a few hrs-- to which he has to feel his death run it's course over a hundred years, fucking wow.

basically, as said by Mayuri, the drug gave Grants "Super-human" senses. "thousands,millions,trillions times a normal human" and his non-super human body fell behind at a terrible rate.

Yeah...I'm not really sure how it could be explained why they just leave, Byakuya seems to think there's still a lot to do before he leaves. The only way I see things continuing and a winter war still happening is if a couple captains die and Yoruchi comes and flashes Ichigo away (since I don't see him backing down even if he would lose...) or something silly like that. I'm sure a better explanation could be had but not sure how things are going to work here.

So i was re watching some episodes, in the 120s and I got confused. The Hogyokou is needed to make the Kings Key right? Cant remember
