Fucking Kubo wins; about time he returned Bleach to epic storyline telling. I haven't shouted what the fuck out loud since Aizen trolled everyone with fake death and being master endgame boss. Holy shit.
And I [we] should have seen it coming because the attack on Ishida was literally Ginjou, but Kubo dragged the story out at such a good pace, you are led to forget the details. Very nice storytelling, 9/10 at this point.
This is how it happens (or is shown to happen so far):
1) Ginjou sneak attacks and wrecks Ishida hard for unknown reasons (probably because Ishida is resistant to Book of the End or some other means), and puts him down and leaves him for dead/hospital so he's not in the way.
2) Some unknown time after he has Tsuki force his (and possibly everyone else's) memories to convert so that they see Tsuki as an enemy and more willing to train Ichigo to obtain his Fullbring.
3) Tsuki runs around and randomly attacks Orihime and Chad and inserts his memories as a latent effect.
4) Mind flipped Fullbring crew trains Ichigo to obtain his Fullbring, and also "unknowingly" allows him to drop his guard since he was still unsure of their motives.
5) Fullbring members leave at some unknown time and get their memories converted back to original.
6) Mind flipped Ginjou completes Ichigo's training and Tsuki leads them to mansion for final fight.
7) Mind flipped Ginjou, further drops Ichigo's guard and points Tsuki out as the "real" bad guy.
8 ) Ginjou is slashed and returned to his original, evil self, leaving Ichigo trolled from all angles and left with Ishida as only ally in the fight (who barely saves him in the nick of time, no less.)
