I think I give Bleach plenty of slack lol. I regularly defend it in this thread.

I know, just saying overall it seems you have a negative outlook on the manga from your posts. And it's not a problem at all. We all know the manga has been extremely shitty with the end of the last major arc. Been so long being trolled in the story, I believe people will see just about anything that comes from Bleach as garbage now. And yet, the majority of the people will be back the very next week to read the next chapter, lol.

Given that putting deep thought into the Bleach story line is usualy in vain. That could've just been a way to bait Uryuu into getting out into the open and or an implanted memory.

On a lesser note, has anyone else noticed that the two new villains are both sides of Aizen? Tsukishima looks like Aizen when he was condescending while Ginjo looks like him during all his trollin'. Was looking at the last big Bleach cover page and this made me laugh pretty hard

I knew it! That was a epic reveal. I had a feeling from very early on that Ginjou and the others were lying.. or weren't at the time cause they had Tsukushima use his power on them as part of their plan. Umm w/e The thing that is kinda pissing me off and needs to be explained is WHY they (Kubo) had Ichigo learn Fullbring in the first place? They help him get it and fuck with him all this time just so they can kill him?

To be honest, I'm hoping Ichigo's fullbring phase is just that, a phase. Part of why I liked Bleach was because the heroes weren't exactly power rangers in appearance. And while the outfits of shinigami are rather generic in their own way, there's at least some variance amongst the characters to help spice them up.

Anyway, we still have the red herring of Tsukishima apparently being the old 4th squad VC to look into. I don't think Ginjou was actually using Ichigo's badge, but rather, maybe he was a substitute in the past and this process might be some means to either regain that ability or head in the other direction for more hollow-ish powers. Part of me can't help but shake the feeling that the "final" move of a zanpakuto is a required step for a phase beyond bankai, and hopefully we move back to a more shinigami-centric locale with all the Zero Squad and King stuff we've been largely left in the dark on until now.

Hope so as well. This arc still does feel like it's filler before Zero Squad.

Hahahahaha, yet another tweest. Ever since Aizen revealed that he wrote the manga I've been following just for the lulz. And it's so worth the lulz.

Still just looks like complaining to complain. I have no problem calling out Kubo for an obvious shitty storyline/story-arc, especially when it was all of that Aizen trolling. The beginning of this arc was definitely weird, out of left field and cliched, but I gave it a chance just like all of the other arcs simply because I love Bleach regardless. Some others, like Haiko enter thread and troll with the weekly/monthly "oh hay, Bleach sucks, Kubo sucks" and leave. Then some, like Hirokei Kiaza and yourself occasionally will call out a well written chapter, but generally has a negative attitude towards the series on a whole. This has been going on for at least a good 2-3 years-- how long do you guys want to continue doing that? Better to jump ship now IMO, simply because nothing will ever be satisfying.

The huge irony of all of this is that people in this thread are more favorable towards anime version of these same storylines/arcs than the manga version, which is usually the same thing with some filler. I remember laughing a good deal at my armchair reading posts here that generally loved the final fights between the Arrancar & Aizen.

All of you can continue to have your varied opinions, but versus the utter shit we've been through for the last year and a half prior to this arc, this one is a lot better and well thought out.

My problem with this arc thus far is that it had a predictable ending with a not-so-surprising plot twist. If Ginjou had turned on him in the beginning without the recycled Aizen panel I might have been surprised.

There's a reason Bleach is in the bottom 3 and it's not because fans have bad opinions. It's because Kubo is a lousy writer.

I must admit at the beginning of this arc I had doubts and it was actually going somewhere good with a nice pace... but come on... who didn't see Ginjou being the bad guy? Also, Tsukishima was clearly the one who attacked Ishida yet Ginjou is the one who attacked him (go back and look at the panel)?

Overall my opinion of Bleach is not really negative or positive. I just read it every week and go "Man... what the hell is this guy thinking" while occasionally going "Hey, that was pretty good".

Tsukishima altering memories and turning Ichigo's friends against him? Very good. Ginjou having Tsuki hit him twice, thus undoing his plot twist to make it more convincing to Ichigo when he could have just pretended in the first place? Not good. The whole Fullbring thing explaining Chad and Orihimme's powers... not so good.

I wasn't aware that you had to like every last part of a story.

This is what's going to happen, Kubo is going to say that he ran behind him to try and prevent Ginjou from stabbing Uuryu. However it was too late and Ginjou stabbed Uuryu but Tsuchiki (or however you spell his name) stabbed Ginjou that day after Ginjou stabbed Uuryu. And he did this all in order to build up Kurasaki's strength to fight Ginjou? Or maybe they were all on seperate sides to begin with. That is really the only way he can try and cover it up? Although it still makes no sense why they all couldn't just be friends after Ginjou was stabbed. Or how all those other people with the abilities were convinced as well that Tsuchiki was the enemy?

Or.... It was tsuki that stabbed him and he used that book of the end shit to make him think ginjou did it. With this stupid ass power, everything everyone says could be a lie, shit, this could be the first time Ginjou got stabbed and theres no way for us to know yet.
