Lol I was watching the Bakuman anime the other night, and it was on an episode with Eiji and his assistants... it got me thinking, man it must be really boring being an assistant for Kubo, especially if the main reason you are there is to draw the background..

Didn't Kubo say (yeah, I know..) that this was gonna be a short arc that reveals Isshin's backstory? Not quite sure where that's gonna come from unless there's a sudden moment where Isshin talks about it after everything is resolved. Really hoping Kubo doesn't have Isshin go through this process where his powers were stolen by the fullbrings too at somepoint in the past..

Seeing how Isshin knew about the FGT, probably safe to assume he lost his powers similarly. Hell, this sword of Urahara's could've been used to juice him back up, though he probably didn't have access to the same amount of raw spirit energy that Ichigo does with all the others chipping in for him. Which also has me wondering if Ichigo is gonna need to get fill ups now and then, or if he's basically back to normal.

Don't quite understand this line. Is he just trying to cope with the dramatic change in power levels or did he swap fullbring powers with him instead of just stealing them? If he swapped, that would explain the change in his appearance (as shown just behind that quote) but doesn't explain the total power loss Ichigo felt a couple chapters ago-unless he would have had to relearn the new one, but Ginjo seemed to be able to use Ichigo's native one just fine maybe due to just experience with it.

I think what he meant was that he thought Ichigo had no fighting prowess beyond that of what he was taught from the Fullbring. Giving him the Fullbring and the training then subsequently strengthened his reflexes, awareness, and speed.

In short, Ginjo's just talking shit because like Aizen he can't believe what's going on. About time Ichigo stopped being a pussy. Maybe Kubo's listening after all.

I had to run it back. That title "The Lost Shinigami" really made me think it was Ichigo, or someone who died or the "deceased shinigami", but it does indeed make sense now including the fact he had a badge the entire time. I give him credit indeed, esp after that plot twist a month ago.
