    Anyone else notice what seems to be a different animation style in the sneak preview? wonder if thatll be permanent, looks pretty sweet.

    Possibly a different studio, but honestly, animation quality fluctuates a lot between the episodes themselves no doubt with more time and money spent on big fights than more of the expositional episodes. But yeah, compare the first episode to now and there's a big difference, so changes have happened before.

    True, but the quality of animation typically goes up and down gradually, i dont think weve seen them just change to a different style in one episode before

    I want to say this episode wasn't common. The last fight with Aizen certainly wasn't, either. I can remember the continued epic terribleness of Halibel's animation on more of the negative side. Either way, we can comment more on it after next week airs, or probably the week after since I'd peg a style shift to be more appropriate with the start of a new season.

    It looks like to me some of the Fullbringers had bad childhoods or had something happen to them in the past. Then Ginjo comes along and promises to help them and control their power. But he's just using them of course. Soul Society probably knows this and orders the captains not to kill them. That's my guess anyway.

    Not to kill them? Except Ken just sliced up that first mofo like it was nothing. And then the boots chick just died(Renji just didn't WANT to kill her, not that he was ordered not to.)

    Just the ones that are not really evil. I don't know.. that's just me speculating. Ginjo and Tsukishima are the main bad guys and the dude Kenpachi killed showed no good guy qualities. Jackie and Yukio both mentioned their pasts as being less than ideal and Riruka definitely seems like she doesn't want any part of it. And it didn't show her actually die. Just that Yukio caused a big explosion. I'll bet when we get back to them Renji shielded her or something.
