I realize this is KUBO, but it makes more sense that when Ichigo used the FGT that his inner hollow went byebye. Wasn't that the entire point of the FGT?
Zangetsu and Hichigo are two sides of the same coin. Isn't that why Ichigo has a new appearance and the look of his shikai has changed?
Kubo doesn't seem to remember or care about his own story line, he changes it as he sees fit. Forgive me for trying to apply logic to Bleach.

I think Kubo is pretty good at humor actually, so the Kido backfiring made me chuckle. Always loved Kon and Rukia interactions and Ichigo and Isshin fighting.

I know Shirosaki is probably gone but I hope something happens and he pops out, and I would love to see Ginjo have an inverse of himself too, but if he's already batshit crazy I wonder if his Hollow would be the opposite and not be crazy...or maybe just be crazier! But it's Kubo so I'm not sitting on any real expectations.

You're giving him a lot of credit for slapstick humor that is found in every manga and animes

Very true, but I think it's mostly because I've grown around these characters for so long, so I am somewhat attached to them and their personalities. Plus the slapstick humor used to happen quite often early on and now it's practically non-existent. Maybe saying he's good at it is giving him too much credit, but I do miss seeing it.

That was my line of thinking as well. Hence why I'm waiting for the inevitable bodyjack. I'm just hoping it's Shirosaki and not some lameass inner Ginjo hollow.

I've said this before but maybe Ichigo's new look is not a new look at all per se' but rather what he would've looked like in shikai form after training in the precipice world. Wasn't it stated that Ichigo never truly lost all his reiatsu? It was just reduced to a state where it was insignificant like a normal human's. If that's the case then we can easily assume Ginjou has both a portion of Zangetsu and Shirosaki.

Stupid speculation on my part but it would be a pretty badass turn of events where Ichigo is completely embraced by Zangetsu and Ginjou by Shirosaki.

In total agreement with what most said. I think Ginjo will turn Hollow. Whether it's full on hollow or not. I'm willing to bet he at least has a mask. It's clear that he absorbed Ichigo's hollow side. Ichigo's fullbring had that hollow look to it and Ginjo's transformation looks almost exactly the same. I think in the next few chapters it's going to be back and forth. Ichigo uses banaki and starts to overpower him, Ginjo then dons Hollow mask and gets the edge. Then.. maybe Ichigo goes full hollow? If it's still in him. I don't know. Haven't been this interested in Bleach in a while.

All Ishida said was that Ginjo might have all of Ichigo's abilities. And even if Ginjo does indeed have all of Ichigo's abilities, what are his abilities? Is arrancar mask really an ability? Would he have Zengetsu sword and shikai and bankai?
DBZ analogy; Cell had all of Friezas abilities. Could use all his powers, however he couldnt transform into Frieza's other forms.

That being said, if that's true, then the only ability Ginjo would have is Getsuga Tensho since that is all Ichigo ever learned...

and on a separate note, shouldn't all of the Fullbrings be able to Getsuga Tensho since they all have some of Ichigo's power too?

I'm still wondering which of the two main protagonists (Tsuki and Ginjo) is going to turn out to be the actual main protagonist of this arc, unless it's just going to end up staying the way it is where they're roughly regarded as on a par with each other. The fact that she refers to being abnormal giving her the opportunity to meet Tsukishima (and be saved by Ginjo) seems odd, I'm not sure why she referenced him specifically along with the apparent leader of the group Ginjo. I could see Tsuki pulling some trollish antics further into this.
