It really is stupid. He only beat what? 3 Captains and several vice captains. I'd be keeping tabs on him too. Seriously. "THEY ARE WATCHING YOU!" "Umm... that actually makes... sense?"

This story is not planned out start to finish. This story is changing its direction, Kubo is running out of ideas, and he's taking old plot devices that had little significance back in the day and making them significant now in order to 'keep things interesting'. He has done this every arc.
I'm all for people not hating on Bleach, even though I get tired of it at times, but let's be a little more realistic and not give Kubo too much credit.
What is Kubo reusing from old story-lines? Ukitake isn't some master manipulator who fooled everyone, the entirety of Soul Society knew about the badge.
Even with a twist that makes sense in Bleach, Kubo apparently can do no right lol.
Yeah, I fully expect Ichigo to say something along those lines in the beginning of the next chapter. Either "Of course they are monitoring me" or "So what, who cares? I'll deal with that after you."
It doesn't make sense that the whole of Soul Society is trying to keep him down and powerless. Why would they join up in an effort to give him his powers back if there were a conspiracy to keep him at reduced power in the first place?
Ginjou may have been telling the truth to an extent but was twisting the facts to form conclusions that make Soul society look like the bad guys. He is likely jaded by whatever happened during his yet-to-be-reveled back-story which resulted in him losing his soul reaper powers.
Perhaps they limit Ginjou's powers because they noticed he betrayed them, and thus assume that they do the same to Ichigo?
It raises the question why Ginjou bothered to keep his badge if he knew about all of this though...
wasn't this badge the same badge that rukia gave ichigo in the first place? i didn't think it was the soul society that gave it him in the first place, but i can't see why its bullshit (dudes super powerful can't blame them for keeping an eye on him) only part i don't get is how did Ginjuu find out and why is he an evil prick because of it?
Reused? This arc is just a rework of the bount arc, complete with Rukia being possessed. While the developments thus far have been good, let's be realistic.
Id guess Ichigo comes from a long line of soul reaper subs and perhaps human/soul reaper hybrids like his family are just inherently extreamly powerful. It would explain his dad being so powerful and seemingly knowing the truth as to wtf happened. It would also explain why theres been no inkling of him being in the soul socity in any of the flashbacks.
I'm giving him no more credit than he deserves. And he deserves some credit with how he's trying to develop his plotline currently. People have no clue how the story will turn, and yet trying to compare it to the Bount Arc because of similar happenings. Rukia possessed? OK, but even so no one knows how it will pan out, be it for good or bad. Definitely will eat my words if it goes the same way, but I seriously don't believe it'll be the case. Maybe Riruka will pop out of Rukia after Ginjou is defeated or something. Or maybe she'll become the secret deciding factor in Ichigo winning the fight, who knows. Doesn't have to always be the obvious outcome.
It really does seem to me that Kubo is having more fun with this Arc than he has had for his manga for a long time, so we see cliched shit and cool shit this time. It's definitely not the trollage all of the Arrancar/Aizen arcs came out to be. And really to compare, do you believe other writers planned out their stories from start to finish as well? I could number a ton of plot holes in all of the other current popular manga-- no one plans out their stories from start to finish. That's why I made a note to say that Kubo has been reading his previous work for ideas. Before he did make mention that he doesn't look back on his work for ideas, however right now it's pretty obvious for this Arc he has been.
I do believe that for many people Kubo has fucked up way too many times for people to enjoy this story anymore. He can no longer surprise readers he's lost or whoever is on the fence. Personally, I believe he can never top Rescue Rukia Arc, but I don't hold him to that standard either, it was a pretty epic bar to set so early in his career in Bleach.
No right can be done at all, the damage is done, lol.
I just recently started watching bleach about a month ago, on Episode 225. Where can I download the rest of them? lol eng sub prefered! I've been looking!
HorribleSubs started torrenting the CrunchyRoll releases at e274. Before that Dattebayo was providing subs, but they've since been shut down and I couldn't tell you where to find 225-273.
Kubo has succeeded! This is the most in-depth conversation the thread has had about Bleach... ever.
Spoiler: show
I'm still shaking my head for getting infracted over making a joke about Ukitake.
What? Obviously don't repeat what you said but what on earth could have been said to warrant an infraction?
edit: lol forgot, this thread is the one of the big 3 where you have to

don't feel bad. i got banned for 3 days for calling Vandole a homosexual.
lmao its like, wtf, really?
apparently, calling him a f****t 5 or 6 times in one post is a no-no
I got suspended 3 days for posting a piece of spoilers outside of spoilers in Naruto thread a few weeks ago as a joke. First ban ever in like what 3 years or so? If not more. Decided I'll never post early spoilers again for whatever reason.
Dat Vandole. Modding Manga section with hyper iron fist.
