Yeah, definitely nothing that looks like a hole in his chest.
Spoiler: show
and honestly, I like the idea that Tsuki could cut himself and let his body think he hadn't been hurt. Though obviously he is even if his body doesn't realize it, it could still theoretically buy him some time.
Nevermind, I need to learn to pay attention.
Orihime had lost potential, I think. While Aizen's whole aim last arc was making the King's Key (supposedly), and taking god's throne, that talk about godhood and whatnot instantly connected to Orihime, in my mind.
Here you have the throne of heaven supposedly vacant, Aizen aiming to take it, and this girl who should be the most powerful in the series: she could potentially will reality to fit her desires. Her power has "godhood" written all over it. I thought she'd figure big into the last arc, but she just went back to being the helpless victim.
I'm delving into an area I have almost zero knowledge of, but;
Isn't going into shock the last resort for the body to protect itself?
If the body doesn't think it is hurt and dying, then it wouldn't go into shock. It would cause a whole lot more damage to the body overall, but if he wasn't feeling any of the negative side effects of it, then I don't see a problem with him lasting a little longer.
and I'm pretty sure Kubo probably never thought about this aspect and wont mention anything about it, but sometimes it's nice to make up facts that help a story!
Oh god there are germs inside of us! quick, lets raise the temperature of the body to 105 and make it throw up, have diarrhea and feel like absolute shit!
They do that because of the ionic configuration of carbon monoxide being a better fit than oxygen in hemoglobin, not because the body likes it. It's easier to bond a monatomic/diatomic than a polyatomic molecule. It bonds much closer and tighter than CO2, which is why you get poisoned. Nothing but breathing it out can remove it from the body, so breathing it in for long periods of time = you die from cyanosis and asphyxiation.
Orihime as the new Soul Queen? Fuck no. My ability to not rage when watching Bleach has gotten pretty good but this would just throw me over the edge.
"By degree of the Queen, all citizens of Soul Society will celebrate her birthday with bean paste filled rye bread with a ginger soy dipping sauce!"
I still think it would've been bad ass for Orihime to have gone bat shit crazy in the last arc and had become the new main antagonist. Would've been a pretty sweet twist, would've played well into her supposed godlike powers, and would have created much needed character development.
Orihime going crazy would make less sense than what we have now.
Dark Orihime rises!
Still waiting on Mecha Orihime honestly.
Now say "Kurosaki-kun" all slutty-like.
I'm imagining Judith say it, maximum slut factor.
