You'd think the ability to turn stuff into sand would actually be pretty awesome if he trained on it for the duration of the series, could have been on some Crocodile from One Piece type shit. Edit: You know what, seriously, why the fuck can he not keep people like the Vizard and such around, but we're left with USELESS CHAD. I can count on 1 hand the number of fights he's actually won. His 1 meaningful win was practically erased in the space of a few panels, why can't he just have killed him off as motivation for Ichigo to use the final GT against Aizen or something. Killing off a close character to power up the main character is perfectly acceptable in a Shonen. Just wish him back with the dragonballs.

No not all. My point was that the majority of characters aren't forced into Ichigo's life needlessly for the sake of character development, i.e. Kukaku chick probably doesn't give a fuck about Ichigo or SS anymore. She was just a good friend of Yourichi and wanted to meet the shinigami who killed her brother. She's served her purpose as far as the story is concerned. Whether we want to see more for the sake of fan service is kind of an oxymoron to the fact Kubo's stories are shallow as fuck.

It's like asking for a random chapter of Harribel* chilling in Hueco Muendo, going about her business just for the sake of having her back in the manga even though there's no point. It'll only end up with everyone herp'a'derping "Kubo sucks, wasted chapter!"
