They got their powers by being affected by Ichigo's reiatsu. Also they're fullbringers who got their power from hollows. Which soul society knew about. But they couldn't explain Chad/Orihime's powers.

Expecting consistency in bleach is just silly. This is Kubo we're talking about after all. Plot holes and contradictions galore!

All Kubo needs to do is to make a chapter specifically stating everything Aizen said was bullshit and he just did it to fuck with people's heads. That would instantly fix a huge amount of inconsistency. The majority of the plot-holes in Bleach come from us assuming Aizen didn't know when he knew we thought we didn't know cuz he probably didn't didn't know phone.

Episode 361 was pretty good. I can say that i'm enjoying this arc in the anime more than I did in the manga. Ichigo is till a crybaby though.

If you're going to continue to read this manga, you're going to have to accept that Kubo is just a bad writer that retcons things a'la George Lucas. Once in a while he has those great gem moments that make the story worth reading. Other times, he doesn't seem to be able to write himself out of a hole.

I can't believe this is actually going to be about Quincies. I really don't care for Quincies. There's no actual evidence of the people declaring war being Quincies. I don't like how they just walked into Yamamoto's room. Remember how hard it was for Ichigo's group to just get into the Seireitei?

Something is supposed to happen in some ice palace. I'm going to be pretty pissed if Quincies end up being the final villains. I just don't feel them being worthy of such an honor.

Dude, there's no way it's going to be just the Quincy.

They'll probably be a opening story to a larger problem, like Rukia being executed but Aizen being the big bad revealed later.
