the Quincy clan got wiped out by the shinigami so i'd say that was reason enough for people to want to start a war

Kinda hoping Ishida's dad is going to be some big boss of the baddies, he was such a douche.

I think it's hard to give a damn considering how little time they've had so far in the series, if they get the spotlight and are shown to do more than shoot arrows like a certain derpy follower of Ichigo (although he used to do more... whatever happened to that?), people might care more.

Well the problem is at this point we've seen that the power of a Quincy lies in his spiritual manipulation, not in some arrancar/shinigami release form like this asshole Iban has shown. Essentially it seems like Kubo's run out of ideas for baddies so he's likely going the "these are the deceased/hollowfied spirits of the Quincy that Mayuri experimented on" or "escaped Mayuri experiments" which would make Soken the likely "bad guy" at the moment.

The Quincy are clearly being manipulated.

I'm cool with Quincies being in the story. I just have a problem with the possibility of the show ending with them as the villain. Kubo talked about the Seireitei being in ruin, and I just think the notion of Quincies accomplishing all that is ridiculous.

I think the Quincys will side up with Kurosaki and the people who are in front of Yama are the Zero Squad. But I am wrong

Compare it to Naruto. They set up Akatsuki to be the big baddy, then we learned that Pain was the boss of it. Then we eventually learned that Pain was just being manipulated by Tobi.

I see this being similar to that; the Quincy's are probably being manipulated by someone. It was also stated in an interview that the Arrancar and Aizen would make a return this storyline, so it's possible they're being manipulated by Aizen or something. Hell; they might not even be Quincy's at all. They could be hollows with Quincy powers created by Aizen or something. Maybe Aizen was a Quincy in his past life and decided to take revenge on the Shinigami and the Spirit King for eradicating his fellow Quincy's; Iunno.

Either way; I'll let the story progress a bit more before I start saying it sucks.

Granted, I highly doubt Quincies will be the grand protagonist, but I'm not seeing what the big problem would be if they were.

The only Quincy we'd seen in action up to now was Ishida... and his father has hinted that the kid's kind of green compared to seasoned Quincy. We really don't know what to expect from a corps of fully-realized, experienced, vengeful, and perhaps hybridized Quincy.

By themselves, the Quincy could still make for an interesting threat (or at least, no worse than the Espada and Fullbringers). The only real doubt is the one that never really goes away: Kubo's storytelling ability.

I personally think the Zero Squad are gonna be the ultimate bad guys. The short exchange between Aizen and Urahara seemed like a genuine effort at foreshadowing on Kubo's part that he isn't going to forget this time and honestly, they're probably the only ones left who pose a threat. A whole squad of almost-Yamamoto tier captains would be sick.

The Quincy's are probably just a temporary vehicle to drive the story for now while certain elements are reintroduced.

Warner Bros. has plans to adapt Tite Kubo's manga series Bleach into a live-action feature, Variety reports. Peter Segal, who most recently directed Get Smart, will produce and potentially direct while Dan Mazeau (Wrath of the Titans) is attached to draft the screenplay.

First published as a serial in "Weekly Shōnen Jump," Bleach tells the story of a young man, Ichigo Kurosaki, who has the power to see ghosts. His life is forever changed after a run-in with a woman named Rukia Kuchiki, who tracks evil spirits called Hollows. She transfers her powers to Ichigo and he takes up the mantle of Soul Reaper, strandind her in the mortal world.

Bleach has previously been adapted in animated form for the small screen in a continuing anime series and, for the big screen, in a series of tie-in films. The most recent, Bleach: Hell Chapter, was released in Japan in December of 2010..
