Justin Chatwin to play Ichigo
Justin Chatwin to play Ichigo
so what. . . dragonball evolution 2.0 (w/ sunglasses)?!
My inner fan wants to say it could be good if done right.
My cynical realist knows they'll fuck it up royally.
Off the top of my head, I figure they'll try to do the entirety of the Rescue Rukia arc in 90 minutes when that wound up spanning like 65 episodes. Now, I know you could probably trim out filler shit like Don Kanonji or the bird boy, but they'll have to cover Ichigo meeting Rukia, him getting a bit of a feel for his powers including the duel with Ishida, Chad and Orihime realizing their own powers, Byakuya and Renji coming for Rukia and stripping Ichigo of his powers, Ichigo training under Urahara to activate his own latent abilities (and his inner Hollow), getting to Soul Society, getting past the gates/wall with everyone getting split up, Aizen being found dead, bunch of little fights, some shinigami in-fighting, Ichigo getting to the tower only for Yoruichi to pull him back, bankai training, more Aizen drama, others still fighting to get to the execution site, execution begins, Ichigo shows up, fights Byakuya and inner hollow shows up, Aizen appears and takes his little light elevator after slicking his hair back.
The utter terribad movie would try to do all of that once. A decent attempt, under the premise of future sequels, would probably stop at Ichigo and friends about to head to SS.
Christina Hendricks are the only titties that could properly play Orihime.
You know we'll get Lindsey Lohan.
Kubo won't write him all God Tier, like Ichigo has been written, again. He had his moment... though that moment was well over 6 years ago.
He was also basically munching up all the spirit rich energy of SS itself through the glove. May literally be impossible for him to become as strong in anywhere but SS as a result.
Can't read moonspeak but people are saying this pic confirms bleach anime cancelled.
spoiler for huge
Spoiler: show
Honestly surprised it took them this long.
edit: ANN confirms it http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...ng-on-march-27
lol... I wonder how they are going to end it, it is going to be all sorts of awkward at this point in the story, I'd imagine.
Complete the current arc, then wait for the manga to end to make a bleach movie? It's not like you couldn't tell a whole arc (or two) in a single movie.
goddamn kubo tie up some loose ends (like Isshin's backstory) first before starting this stuff all over again...
Er, link said it'll just stop airing at the 6pm time slot for the Rock Lee mini-series, not that it was over entirely.
Though, given completion of the current arc would pretty much put it right on the manga's heels, in absence of a filler arc, I can see an outright break. I just feel like an actual ending of a show that's run like 7 years would get more than a couple sentences.
Maybe Bleach will be like Inuyasha and finish the anime after the manga finishes.
If they made a live action bleach movie in the style of Bleach pre Rescue Rukia arc it would probably be pretty good. Of course hollywood is going to fuck it up though and add in all sorts of retarded shit they think is needed for a movie that isn't. Punisher having a romantic subplot anyone?
ichigo boots the kids in the face talks to the little girl > house gets beaten into wakes him up rukia is there > see monsters rukia stabs him > next day at school he heres about chad and boobs getting attacked > uryuu can tell what ichigo is and duals him ichigo wins > rukia is taken to SS > hat and clogs tells him how to get there > shiba's sister and brother get them inside > 40 mins of fights (39 of them ichigo vs KENPACHI!) > off to the fire phenoix > ichigo saves rukia > ichigo and byakua fight > we meet hollow ichigo > ichgo wins > da end, i'd say you could do that basic story in 90-100 mins![]()
OC characters with deus ex machina abilities for the movie
