    I don't think it's the zero-guard; I think when they do that "Bankai disappearance" thingy, they don't neccesarily lock it away; they steal it. Either that or their bows, like the Zanpakutou, has a personality, and thus can release Bankai themselves as it's part of their souls. It's also possible the souls they stole are used to construct Bankais

    If it's going to be anything like that, I am think it will be something along the lines of Ichigo questioning Aizen as to why he wanted to create the Kings Key to get to that realm and Aizen will respond with some bullshit saying that everything that happened was all a test: The Arancar were created to "simulate" the Vandenreich and test the Gotei 13, and Aizen was preparing Ichigo for what was going to happen in the future. So yeah another "Just as planned" moment.
