Aw yeah Holocaust parallels
A live action bleach movie? That could actually be pretty amazing if they choose either the early arcs or get a decent writer that wont listen to executives trying to fuck everything plus some good choreography. Is it Hollywood or Japan making it? And how exactly would it be difficult to find multicultural actors? There are tons of them about. Hollywood just has a ridiculous preference for whites only so we never get to see them in films as main characters. It's not hard to find actors that may actually look like the characters(at least a little as far as looks are concerned), It's just not something we're used to directors giving a shit about.

I'm wondering how is Kubo going to plotkai out of this mess he got into (1 enemy faction vs. hueco mundo/aizen + kurosaki + gotei13)
Not much to really "plotkai". Their strength is already shown since they took captive Hailibel (3 strongest Espada). Gotei 13 and Vaizards struggled with them, to the point where Aizen had to try and kill Hailibel himself. At least to me, it has a decent progression with the return of some characters. They may not progress the storyline at a big rate but they'll give more incite to what's been happening in Heuco Mundo since they left.
Where did Aizen try to kill Hallibel? I dont remember :/
I wouldn't say Aizen tried to do anything. He simply cut her down; Aizen being who he is, I don't think he cared much whether she lived or died. Halibel wasn't even a real problem for him, he just sliced her up on general principle.
Though the fact that this new group seems to consider Aizen a lightweight is a bit silly, seeing as Aizen was practically the end-all-be-all of the last arc--Ichigo had to sacrifice his powers to stop him, and that wasn't even for a death stroke.
Of course, Aizen lived in Soul Society for centuries before anyone figured out how powerful he was, it doesn't really shock mt that Kubo would come up with yet another incredibly powerful character(s) that just flew under the Gotei 13's radar.
It's believable that they flew under Gotei 13's radar because the Gotei 13 have shown time and time again that they are utterly retarded.
I don't think it was a direct knock to Aizen's power that they made fun of him but rather those pointless arrancars that were jealous of Orihime's titties and the arrancars in general. Like why would Aizen use those weaklings as his subordinates type shit. Even Aizen made the reference himself when he cut down Hallibel about how pissed he was that he invested all this time into them and he still had to deal with the Gotei 13 himself.
The only arrancar that lived up to the hype was Ulquiorra. I suppose in some ways the King did as well but everyone else really fell short. When initially discribed Vasto Lordes were going to have combat capabilities above that of the captains of the Gotei 13. The only theory I can come up with is that turning them into arrancars actually overall weakened them. Perhaps they were even split up into different individuals overall weakening their power (like Stark and Lily.)
Except the easiest explanation that the fanboys came up with is that the captains didn't really know how 'powerful' the VL were. And so, in typical Kubo fashion, he retconned it so that most of the Espada, including GJ, were VL-level. This was, of course, in lieu of actually coming up with new characters or coming out and saying "Dude, I'm a fucking VL". He realized the story was dragging out too long and that introducing new characters wouldn't work.
That's the main issue with this manga, amongst so many others - Kubo evolves the story while ignoring what he has written as canon. Sometimes it works (Pendulum Arc, Fullbringing, Isshin) and sometimes it doesn't (Aizen fight, Gin, Espada, strength of that shitty VC who died).
I think fanboys just expected way too much from the VL's. It took so long to identify who they were until a databook finally came out that they became these godlike entities only the Zero squad can handle from all the hype build-up generated by fans. It's easy to dismiss the fact it still took several VC's and captain's to just take even one down.
I'd also say SS's opinions on VLs were formed before Ichigo came about. He helped kickstart them to want to become stronger, and Aizen's betrayal was icing. Either way, yeah, fan hype. I remember saying some of the higher numbers were VLs, only to have some people get angry because they didn't fit their image.
Meh the only espada worth shit was Yammy and I guess Barragan because of its power.
