His ability essentially overcomes the opponent with raw fear, which can't be ignored because it's not conscious fear.

I don't know, I'm kind of half-expecting his huge reiatsu won't help him any different. He's going to fight some Quincy who's going to feed off and absorb all his reiatsu and fuck him up dearly.

One sentiment I definitely agree with, Soul Society has gotten so fucktardedly dependent on bankai's they seemingly all forgot about kido. Quincy's are ultimately human. Use some binding kido and just have them niggas starve to death or just from straight exhaustion from constantly putting up a defensive blut's while you fuck with them.

I mean, Its not a primary mode of attack, But it could probably bind/stop/distract them long enough to wear them out... Ichigo himself was making the one quincy back into a corner because of his constant attacks... You think Byakuya would be one of, if not the only one, that would have 0 problems constantly assaulting one of them from all directions, even his Shikai has the ability to do that... He shouldn't have an issue forcing his opponent to stay defensives, making it a stalemate until perhaps Renji could get in a shot.

IDK Really, But they could handle this so much better if Kubo would remember half the stuff he writes

They allowed the enemy to steal their bankai so they can learn about the sealing technique. What would be the point of allowing theft if they just stomped them with kido/speed attacks (In Soi Fon's case)?

Not really seeing how kido would be any more effective since it's also likely reishi fueled and they can just pull out super schneele schnieders or whatever and dissipate/absorb it.
