So how exactly is this Quincy guy supposed to win? Cause if he does that is gonna be some of the biggest bullshit in all of Bleach. Yamamoto destroying him then having to power down cause of the damage that form does is the only reasonable conclusion I can see.

Yammy's going to blow a nasty hole through him, at which point we'll assume it's over. Then new guy will grow butterfly wings, thank Yammy for allowing him to experience enough fear that he could evolve, and KO him with a hand-slash.

He's going to do exactly that save for the killing him part. It'll be a classic "Look Behind You" panel and the like. The other captains will by then make short work of their opponents only to fall to this guys REALLY weakened hands. They will then escape and Ichigo will be arrested by the mysterious Zero Squad for failing in his duties to assist Seirite(sp?).

Spirit particles are still spirit particles, bro. He's gonna pull some bullshit quincy ancient artifact that super-absorbs spirit particles and basically reverse all the damage that Yama could do, or heal himself. This is Kubo and this is Shonen; bullshit is always abound.

I'm still not sure why he doesn't just absorb Yama's bankai. It's one of the most powerful in existance. The only explanation is that the boss have an even more powerful one than Yama do, or that Yama's can't be absorbed, but that would seem strange that the reader isn't told about it, as it would be the most obvious solution if condition a) is not fulfilled.

Not the right time, yet. Remember, this isn't an actual battle, but a manga. If we, the audience, don't see all of Yama's sweet moves, it won't be as impactful (and sell as many copies!) when he absorbs the bankai.
