Bach mentioned the Quincy's were wary of five war potentials in Soul Society.

One was Ichigo, the second was Kenpachi, and the third was revealed to be Aizen. There's still two we don't know about and if there's anything significant to these war potential candidates.

After last week, I was starting to think they're powerful people who could potentially be turned to help the Quincy cause -- which could be something less nefarious than we've been led to believe, but with the whole thing about the captain not being one, I'm back aboard the 'no idea what they're for' boat.

How long ago was the Quincy extermination? Juhabach says it was 1000 years ago, but wasn't Ishida's grandfather one of the few to survive it..?

Yama states its been 1000 years so we need to accept that as canon.
In the manga and the anime they have explained why the Quincy were put down. There is a balance of souls that must be maintained in order for Soul Society and the Material world to coexist.
Somewhere it was explained that Hollow evolved to help maintain that balance. Quincy which were merely "humans" with a heightened awareness of the existence of immaterial beings began a wholesale extermination of any and all things not human (In relation to Hollows at first.)
Soul Society wanted the Quincy to stop the wholesale destruction of Hollows cause it would fuck up Reality. SS declares the Quincy a threat. After SS starts wiping out the Quincy
That meant Shinigami or Hollow they considered you an enemy.
Plus their efforts to wipe out the Hollows was at risk of destroying Soul Society/Hueco Mundo/ and possibly the material world as well. Well that pissed off Yama pretty good and he took them out to save everything.
Ishidas' grandfather understood the delicacy of the balance this and kept his head down and stayed out of the fight.
This could become a pivotal point in the current arc. But Kubo doesnt seem to remember what he writes from one week to the next.

Honestly, spend two seconds doing any research and you will come to the same conclusion/find the same answers. I am sorry that I don't have EXACT episode numbers or issue numbers (at the moment). I am not even sure why I am bothering to reply to your trolling.

i just read that link you posted, and the line above is what makes your monologue full of shit, as nowhere in there said they hunted Shinigami. That very reading states that after the Shinigami tried to explain why they shouldn't kill all the hollow, the Quincy chose to ignore the warning, which is why the Shinigami were forced to kill most of them off. Read that shit before you post it, kid

hmm. I've been commenting in this thread for 3 years and suddenly I am getting called out.

Nothing I posted was egregiously wrong. The Shinigami and Quincy fought each other in the past, and even the first interactions between Uryuu and Ichigo were antagonistic. The Quincy didn't want to take orders from SS and because of that SS put them down. Now the Quincy have returned the favor and shit will hit the fan unless suddenly the Vandereich is all about balance, but hey they dont seem care about that.

I'll be sticking to the "topic" from now on. IF you want to call me out further do it in PM's rather than padding your overinflated post counts.
