I think they try too hard to make everything Americanized. If you've ever seen the feedback about their more recent translations, you'll notice that some of their translations don't even make sense to non-Americans.

I tend to get iffy when pop culture starts bleeding into things, like pwning noobs or the old FFX "Macarena Temple" joke. Heck, even Tsuneo's Greed sig reminds me of Ed calling the one dude Donkey Kong. None of these worlds should feasibly "know" those things unless it's literally been set in our Earth.

Well, only 3 espada were left alive in/to return to hueco mundo, and we've already seen two of them in this arc: Halibel, Nel, and Grimmjow. Only one of those people is a guy, has a major ongoing feud with Ichigo, and has absolutely no desire to uphold prior allegiances to the ladies, allowing him to strike a deal with Kisuke. Plus Inoue healed him. Seems like it must be Grimmjow. Who else is over there? If somewhere way down the road Ken one-shots Giriko again I will laff.
