No, I kinda remember something being mentioned (once, and probably in passing) about how the dead form their families in Soul Society. For the most part, you die and wander until you end up finding a group of souls that will take you in to their family. However, sometimes souls will remember things about their past life and seek others out.
As an example, this is why Rukia's sister requested that Byakuya seek Rukia out and keep her protected.
I'm pretty sure that the only time it was stated that souls have no recollection of their lives was during the first movie (Memories of Nobody), which is of course not cannon. Other instances (Rukia's sister and Chad's bird) have had memories fully intact.
I may have been smoking something however and have remembered it all in reverse (aka wrong).
It was never stated in the manga that people do not retain memories in the afterlife. It is stated that people form their own families and sometimes are reunited (such as in the case of Hisani and Rukia). Otherwise they wander soul society looking for somewhere to belong. Strong souls are attracted to each other, especially if they're spiritually-aware.
I can't wait for Isshin to be waiting up there.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?
Go rewatch the Soul Society arc, the first arc, and pick it up before they enter seretei and he meets Gin.
yeah... that was mentioned several times lol
Real issue with the Fullbringers: why aren't the Fullbringers in hell for the sins they committed in life, and why would they want to help Soul Society?
You have to be an evil motherfucker to go to hell remember, they kept to themselves and its not like they were mass murderers. Also presumably Kuukaku make a deal with them to help in exchange for getting out of rukongai.
I don't know, taking away people's free will then screwing with Ichigo just to steal his powers (and making a game of it with turning Ginjo and everyone against Tsukishima for a little bit) isn't exactly good guy stuff.
I think being a murderer while being a human is really the only way to end up in Hell, and as far as we know, none of the Fullbringers went that far. Giriko did accidentally kill his wife, but that's not murder.
You don't go to hell by killing people. You go to hell for being evil (like the serial killer guy). If people went to hell for being evil and/or killing people then every one of Ichigo's friends who killed someone in self defense would go to hell along with all Quincies.
End of the video has the explanation of how Hell works, and simply being evil isn't "sinning" in Bleach.
mankind is evil by nature so you have to be super evil to go to hell! (even madara wouldn't go to hell but he is the King of Trolls sorry Aizen :/)
