Certainly. He's just not active now. Perhaps the window of escape will present itself later in this arc.

Personally, I would love for Aizen to break out while the Quincies are largely relevant. I've always loved story-lines that has two antagonists fucking with each other and everything becomes a three-way battle.
mythology shit
Spoiler: show
Does anyone find it odd that Aizen went through all the trouble he did to try and create the key to get to the Soul King when all he needed was the permission of somebody from the Zero Squad?
I'd assume the problem is hooking up with them to chat and get an invite. He would've known the fat chick, but that didn't mean they were on good terms. Plus the whole "non-interference" clause doesn't seem too conducive to making friends.
idk, I was just thinking about how long it took for the HM - War arcs to wrap up when all it came down to was getting an invitation.
Yeah lets invite the guy wanting to kill the king to the castle
its joining an exclusive club we'll call you don't call us deal, no way he could meet them unless he destroyed earth or actually got the power to go toe to toe with them
ok, saying it was "odd" was a mistake.
Funny.
I agree with you that he couldn't have just gotten invited up there.
The ouken being zero squad themselves though I would imagine is a pretty good secret to keep. Have people looking for a literal key that doesn't exist.
Are you really debating Bleach when Kubo has come out and said he doesn't remember what he writes? He probably thinks Aizen was some low tier shinigami now.
Are you really coming in blah blah blah
My thoughts exactly...gtfo
So the Roanoke colony was used to make an oken. Mystery Solved.
none of that has anything to do with people who only complain and just repeat the phrase "like omgz kubo doesnt even remember anything evar" despite that fact that he said, IN THAT SAME EXACT SENTENCE, that he rereads his stuff because he can't remember everything. Something that I'm sure almost all writers who have a large body of work do. Hell, George R.R. Martin said he keeps all his books in a single document so he can search up character information that he has forgotten.
Can you name one thing his apparently amnesiatic forgetfulness has caused a plot hole or inconstancy in? And no, taking the plot in a bad direction does not count.
