Again I ask, how is it a plothole? Zangetsu stated he would give Ichigo access to all of his power to win this battle. We see later on in the manga that once he learns to control that power, he can easily overpower even Aizen. Even then the battle ended in a draw, which if anything shows how ridiculously strong Kenpachi really is.
I really think you're stuck in a DBZ mind-set of "power-ups" where characters get stronger in increments, wherein Ichigo "learns" to access more and more of his already massive innate power throughout the manga.
kon haters, represent. shit was retarded.
lol
Ehhh last one was forced. But otherwise Kon is great.
I didn't remember that specific part; perhaps that's why the point of a thread is to discuss topics like that? But I feel that if that's the explanation, its pretty weak -- you could argue Zaraki should have been annihilated by Ichigo's full strength.
Right now I am just more convinced that Kubo didn't gauge the characters strengths correctly and had to adjust Kenpachi up once the manga went on longer.
But I already explained quite thoroughly why the "It's not like DBZ powerlevels" explanation doesn't fly. The incongruities I pointed out are all based on pretty much brute strength.I really think you're stuck in a DBZ mind-set of "power-ups" where characters get stronger in increments, wherein Ichigo "learns" to access more and more of his already massive innate power throughout the manga.
There was a debate about plotholes and someone made a challenge to present one plothole that couldn't be explained. I am arguing for what I think is the most obvious case.
It's completely fair to argue Kubo was pulling shit out his ass during the initial Kenpachi fight but that's a completely different discussion. Point is that there is an explanation on how Ichigo beat Kenpachi yet the 11th squad captain was still able to beat two other captains simultaneously a few chapters later.
also, fuck kon
naw, fuck him. I'd sooner have a hernia than have to sit through more chapters of his retarded fucking antics
That panel where he was buff as shit and said he was training to beat Aizen the past 17 months was fucking hilarious.
Until you remember he's useless and always has been as a fighter in the series. Him being so prominent in the Reigai filler arc was nauseating, as well.
I hate to use BA but
