So JP gangster guy is kirin, black guy is Phoenix, did they say who Hikifune was supposed to be?

Also; so the requirement for joining the Zero Squad is to create something, so does that mean they all aren't super crazy powerful, or is there just a big coincidence that only the strongest shinigami have created super useful things?

I saw it more as every member of the Zero squad has had a huge influence on Soul Society's history, not necessarily a requirement.

I would say their strength is a result of their ability to manipulate spirit energy and not so much because they invented anything. Their talent in that regard is probably what allowed the innovations.

I wouldn't rule out them all being super strong -- the first guy was able to move faster than Soi Fong could keep up with when they first showed up.

There's also the fact that they were introduced as being more powerful than all of the Gotei 13 combined... so I'd say they qualify as being crazy powerful.

Given the bald guy's talk about reijutsu and powerful stuff back at the palace, I'm guessing he's the kido creator. Still kinda stumped what arm-girl will be.

Isn't the stealth portion of the Gotei 13 a pretty significant part of the whole operation? She could be the stealth lady, but I'm not sure what tangible thing she could have actually created.
