    Nah, Valentine's Day is when the girls give guys chocolate, yes, but White Day (March 14) is when the guys return the favor. Christmas in Japan is pretty much like Christmas in the US, but with all religious meaning stripped away. OK, so it's exactly like US Christmas.

    Only on the surface, it's not a major holiday over there. People at most get a hotel room because that's just how they fuck if they have money. But there is no special accordance to the observation, it's just a day to party and eat and fuck. Most of the time you don't even get together with the family.

    i only added my earlier statement due to knowing Japanese and having a Japanese culture university graduate for a sister which is why mine and Corrections are somewhat the same also where is abandon he should have Japanese ho stories out the ass

    Seriously, Unohana does something interesting and then apparently is going to die so that Zaraki can be better? And here I was looking forward to having a strong female character in the series.

    The whole "Shinigami or Zanpakatou, which is one top?" thing reminds me of the speech Shirosaki had with Ichigo about the horse and the king.

    Also I'm confused. . was the person Zaraki beat to become captain Unohana, or someone else? Or, had they met even before he came to Seireitei?

    She's still one of the best healers in Soul Society. Unless the strike she takes instantly ends her she'll probably survive with a shred of health and heal herself up. Also, she's fucking scary as hell now. People were right to look at her with a feeling of "I shouldn't cross this one..."

    Was under the impression he killed the captain, but could have just misinterpreted "taosu" I guess. Knowing Kubo, Kenpachi defeats Unohana, but have Unohana use a phoenix Bankai. Even though we interpreted her past as the reason she's the only one able to teach Kenpachi how to fight to defeat opponents (Rather than fight for fun), such a Bankai would make just as much sense.
