Also, what did Aizen do with Orihime? I thought he was going to use her to speed up the awakening of that orb thing, and that she wanted to erase it from existence. It seems all she was for was bait to lure Ichigo and crew to HM. Just seems a little wierd that everyone was waiting for the showdown to happen in winter, and now it seems it got pushed up. Maybe I missed something, I dunno. Still, nice to see some actual plot advancement for a change.

Orihime's use was only to lure everybody to HM. He did that so they would be trapped there and he could buttrape Ktown

With that, I'm a little confused why he showed Orihime the hogyoukewhatever. and also why he bothered keeping her alive(aside from plotkai) since ichigo wouldnt have known either way. and why he just took Orihime back instead of leaving her there/killing her so she couldnt use her powers. He may still want to use her.

also, as said by zaraki, it was gonna be in winter cause thats how long it was thought it was going to take Urahara to get the gate to work. but he finished ahead of schedule.

If Aizen is serious is that they can have Inoue back then I'll be angry. That makes zero sense and it seems like the writers just chose to skip a bunch of shit to try and end this arc quickly. That's extremely frustrating because it really makes no sense... she better have a use...

I thought she was supposed to be negating the damage the hokyoku-or-however-you-spell-it took over time from making all those Arrancar. Her plan was to negate it out of existence whenever he called on her for that. I'm sure he still has some use for her, otherwise why would he go to the trouble of bringing her back instead of letting her walk out with everyone else. Who knows, maybe he doesn't have any good medics on his side and is just covering his bases for this big battle

He didn't take her with him, so that the Ichigang (lol) would stay in HM more focused on rescuing her instead of trying to figure a way out until he returns to kill Ichigo.

I agree. Final image with the rest of the captains/vice-captains (save Ukitake and Shunsui's) assembled was pretty awesome indeed.

I didn't think it was that bad of a chapter though. Aizen is the type to abduct someone, use them for his will and do what needs to be done, then cast them aside. Look what he did to Momo afterall. Just surprised he's not killing her right away. I guess he has more pressing matters.

This is the problem with a character with a power this substantial. It's so easy to just fall back on "can't orihime just negate xxx?" If they actually let her do that to whatever in this anime, it would be boring and pointless. She needs some sort of limit or hinderance that will not let her go all willy-nilly on negating everything that stands in Ichigo's way.

Such as, the more she "negates" the more time she takes away from her own life.

Having orihime still in HM is a great idea by aizen. remember, the top 4 Espada are still there, and so far, we've seen that up to 5 can be pretty difficult. It's a huge distraction, and Orihime is going to be guarded by some pretty strong opponents. It's going to keep the HM crew there for a while to say the least, and also takes away from who is in karakura. I mean, there are some pretty strong people in the human world, but those people there are only so strong. We don't know Aizen or the other bad captains strength after playing with hollow/espada powers and creations, the only person who really doesn't have a limit and has a potential to keep on climbing and has real plotkai is Ichigo, and he's stuck in HM. I'm not really sure if the vizards will get involved, but to keep from being wiped out they might be, even still, we don't know if they even stand a chance to what Aizen has possibly become.

Would imagine Orihime might be limited to an amount of time past or having to literally know how the object was before rejecting it. I can't think of her fixing up anybody whose injury wasn't recent, nor of whom she wasn't familiar with.

I don't think she had ever met Grimmjow but she healed his arm just fine.

she said she was having trouble healing Ichigo after Ulqiorra put a hole through him. but that was right after she healed the 1 Ulquiorra fraccion who got the upper half of her body desinagrated.

Perhaps it's more difficult to negate actions performed by powerful individuals?
Ichigo's wound was made by #4, while the fraccion's wound was made by #6
Maybe since Nel's wound was made by #5, it's the sweet spot & she'll be able to fix Nel's mask! :rocl:
That in turn, however, would make Tousen a pansy since she had no trouble with it lol

Something like that. Grimm also pointed out it was kind of a trademark of Ulq's to stab people where is hole was, whether he realized it or not.
