I think he means maybe Isshin was in the 10th before being promoted as Capt. of the 10th, since we know he was not Captain during Turn Back the Pendulum.
I don't think that's Isshin though.
Sorry not enoughSpoiler: show

Also I lol'd at Kubo's shitty excuse why Isshin can't use his bankai.
IN HIS STATE HE WON'T BE ABLE TO USE IT LOL
How are people getting its Kaien lol!? Kaien was still alive and healthy well after Isshin left the Shiba clan.
Was he? Wasn't that event like 50 years in the past, and this is around 20 years?
No not really. Rukia never specified when that happened. She joined the academy 50 years ago. What is funny is nobody realizing that Ichigo was in the Shiba house the whole time given his father who, if the timeline is as Kubo writes it, should know everyone currently in the Gotei.
Anyone more versed in bleach have any idea what Aizen meant by "his inner self is white", when referring to the Hollow creation?
Well I assumed it meant that the hollow was made from someone who was originally a shinigama and converted to hollow in one of Aizens bonding experiments. But I'm not as versed as you gentlemen.
Well he has a resemblance but that's not exactly alot to go off of as it could easily be sheer coincidence with the number of people in the world living or dead and the chaotic (nongenetic) state of the clan lineages to begin with. If Ichigo had been calling himself Shiba Ichigo it would have been obvious but otherwise it would be like assuming Clark Kent is Superman.
So now that Misake was bit does this mean she will transfer the hollow infection to her first born thus sealing the nine-tail fox away until it's accidentally awoken?
Ukitake thought he looked like Kaien the first time he saw him, but Byakuya blew it off -- said the half-dead Ganju was more important than Ichigo. Rukia was an unseated member of the 13th squad, so there's a chance she never met him in Soul Society. And she was the only person who has met Isshin, right? We still don't know the circumstances of Isshin leaving Soul Society. Based on stuff that's been said, we've assumed that Isshin used his version of the Final Getsuga Tenshou and lost his powers, but it might have been something more controversial, or they thought he was dead. Ichigo he doesn't really look like Isshin, so if people assumed Isshin was dead, they'd have no reason to draw that connection.
Hitsugaya and Rangiku and Renji have been inside Ichigo's house, but we can assume that like Rukia, Renji never met Isshin in SS.
Hitsugaya and Rangiku are a whole other story. Though I'm not sure if they have actually met Ichigo's father when they were there. They'd also have to not see any photos of Isshin hanging around his house as well.
I'd like to think that if Rangiku and Hitsugaya did know Ichigo's dad was Isshin, they would have shown it given their prior relationship.
I figured they never actually ran into his father. I get the feeling he makes himself scarce during most of the manga specifically because he knows people might recognize him with Yuzu or Karin letting guests in because they think it's nice that Ichigo stopped being angry long enough to make new friends.
Work is keeping me overly busy these days however I am curious if anyone else thought:
Spoiler: show
It's really beginning to look like Masaki was killed by Ichigo.
