So like all those times Hollow Ichigo would say he's the "Real Zangetsu" turned out to be true. Also now that he's going to have a real bankai than a quincy bankai means it'll be stolen npnp.
So just to be clear of what happened:

Someone should yell at you for being unable to spell stuff![]()
My bet is the arms chick is going to have some training method like Uraharas Instant Bankai method. Fat beard dude is the fight trainer out the group. Spirit King is just going to touch Ichigo in a naughty place and then he is sent to fight. Renji and Ichigo will eventually train together at fat beard dudes palace.
What are you guys going to do when Ichigo releases his new Zanpakuto and says
"Bleach, White!"
Kill yourselves?

Since White was his real power, does that mean when he went full hollow that he was using bankai!?
Considering his dad also had getsuga tenshou (even named the same) as a zanpakuto ability, I don't think that line of logic really makes any sense. Isshin even implied engetsu was capable of using final getsuga.
I think I suggested this a long time ago in this thread, but now it makes more sense: could zangetsu just be a copied (via quincy powers?) manifestation of engetsu?
I could see that being that case. Obviously Zangetsu isn't Bach, but rather a manifestation in Bach's image due to Ichigo's Quincy Bloodline. Urahara training him to uncover his shinigami abilities could've really just been his Quincy powers attempting to mimic a shinigami due to the lack of an asauchi, basing everything on his Shiba bloodline. The similarities Yugl pointed out also fit right in. Oetsu sending Ichigo back to learn the truth about his origin makes even more sense now.
Another interesting bit as well is if you go back into the inner world chapters between Ichigo and Shirosaki, White/Shirosaki makes an insinuation that neither he or Zangetsu are Ichigo's zanpaktou to begin with.
I personally think it's an interesting development. At the very least I'm anxious to see what happens next.
This chapter alone makes the entire Zanpakuto Rebellion filler arc hilarious. It was already not canon, but now it's comical.
"Zangetsu" got pulled out, not White.
Yamamoto saw "Zangetsu" and didn't do anything. If he's Bach from 1000 years ago (at least in appearance) Yama would have completely lost his shit.
It's more likely it was his fullbring mimicking Shinigami powers rather than his Quincy abilities. He is, after all, part Hollow. In this chapter it was even stated that Asauchis are similar to that of a White, so I'd say it's the White that took the place of an Asauchi personality and power wise. He probably have similar abilities to his father because his dad is a Shinigami, and and "had it in his blood" or some stupid shit like that.
Kuno; no. It's almost exactly like I said. You just refuse to listen. Time and time again I said that Ichigo didn't have an Asauchi but instead mimicked an Asauchi with his hollow, fullbring and Quincy abilities (which was literally confirmed this chapter). And, like I said, it makes no sense that his new sword would have the same name since he has an actual Asauchi now.
Edit: by mimicking I mean the sword and abilities themselves, it's still likely or possible that the source of his power is his Quincy side mixed with hollow side.
It's all confusing, I hope he'll go deeper in to it.
Wait.. I thought this chapter implied that he has never had white manifest. Rather, he has been using his Quincy powers which tried to emulate Shinigami powers. It makes sense with the stuff from the recent flashback, where his dad says that all Quincy powers originated from Bach. Presumably, if every Quincy could face their powers, they'd all look like Bach?
The part I don't like about all this is the part where "Zangetsu" has been trying to fool Ichigo. If it's part of him, why is it trying to fool him?
I don't know, I don't get the "fooling" part. I think it's a strange translation, and the actual translation is closer to disguised - not that Zangetsu was trying to deceive him.
Chapter said absolutely nothing, nor insinuated anything to do with full-bring. It's a by-product of White's power which are pretty much inferior to anything else Ichigo has access too. Full-bring was only relevant to Ichigo when there was nothing else available.
Just reread mangastream's translation. It sounds more and more of exactly what a few of us are thinking. As far as the whole "foolin" Ichigo bit, I doubt it. Just an ambiguous cliff-hanger Kubo loves to leave for every chapter in my opinion. More than likely Zangetsu had every right to believe he was a real zanpaktou and wanted to protect Ichigo, with Shirosaki pointing out that neither of them were.
