Actually, speaking of Bankai training.. Wasn't the thing that Urahara developed supposed to forcibly draw out his Zanpakuto? In other words, even if his Quincy powers were pretending to be Zangetsu, they shouldn't have been pulled out.

Chapter said he was suppressing the real Zangetsu the whole time. So you can say he appeared in it's place willingly. I'm happy with this explanation. For all the random crap we were speculating Kubo made it a pretty simple.

I just want him to be like "Yo." and then a humorous panel of him smacking Ichigo around going "Bitch I told you I was Zangetsu" so Ichigo can be like "so sorry I tried to kick your ass and be like what's up you're a nuisance".

Then Ichigo turns super hollow mode 4 ex Quincy alpha and blows up the planet.

Iunno, I didn't watch or read it, but I seem to remember someone mentioning in one of the thousands of discussions about it that the main character was stronger because he was half-human and could therefor reach a new level of SSJ or something. If that's not the case, then disregard the DB reference

DB is like 500 and DBZ like 1000 (exaggerating but not by much), watching DB/DBZ is where its at, just too much filler.
