It's not just sheer power levels, going "HURR DURR THIS ESPADA IS X RANK SHOULD BE FASTER AND STRONGER!"

It's the fact that Ichigo's sole Bankai power is supposed to be speed, but we never see his speed ever give anyone problems since Byakuya. Maybe they acknowledge it. But it's never ever decisive again.

Kubo has done a good job in other fights of making it determined by something other than power levels. Byakuya is the perfect counter to Zommari because he cannot take sovereignty over Byakuya's million blades. Kenpachi's raw strength is the perfect counter to Nnoitra's raw brutality. Shunsui's lolGames Shikai has all these tricks that deal Stark. Hachi's ability to reverse Barragan's Death. Hitsugaya and Harribel's powers counter each other.

But Kubo never ever writes Ichigo using his speed as a special counter. It's never an "Ichigo is fast but lacks the power to land significant blows." All Ichigo ever gets are general "power level" type power-ups (Vaizard mask, FGT mode)

Im not saying Kuno doesnt fuck things up or not scale some powers correctly. Just saying that Ichigos speed absolutely has come in play again.

For real. Every time he fought his hollow, his hollow took over, or the few times he took his head out of his ass, the brutality of his fighting style always left me with goosebumps. If he fought like that all the time, he would be incredibly dangerous simply due to how unpredictable he is when he fights that savagely.

It's ironic how white brought out his best and he instead rejected it.

Pretty much. It's a real loss that this dude didn't use White to his full advantage. Dude is just random and cold blooded when the Hollow takes over.

From out of the blaze, he pulls out a katana with his hand.

The water surrounding completely disappears.

After the water has dried up, we see that Zangetsu has become 2 blades.

Juha Bach Ossan (Aka OMZ/Bachgetsu) and White Ichigo (Hichigo?) are present.
