As for chapter, I feel like this whole "ritual" is just a pretext for Bach to possess Ishida to maybe get a physical body. Covers both him getting a power up, but also making Ichigo's fight more difficult.

Cool, we get this arc stretched out another hundred chapters as we have mediocre fights amongst all the different Quincy letters/rankings before finally facing Bach-shida.

It's odd Bach would call Ishida the last living Quincy, since he's not a "pure blood." If he considers Ishida a real quincy, then Ichigo and Ishida are the "last living Quincies." Though I guess you could just make the distinction of a Quincy who had "2 quincy parents," even if one of them wasn't a pure blood. It's not like Bach is unaware of Ichigo's quincy blood.

Who do you guys think the masked Quincy is going to be? Kaien v3, Ichigo's mom? Only reason for a masked character is for it to be shocking when the mask is lost, so it better be good~

I hate power-ups via ceremony/hand waiving.

Ichigo's mom in Hollow-Quincy hybrid form, with her soul linked to Kaien.
