Interesting point when you look back at it. Outside Ken-chan and Ichigo, all the captains save Byakuya got taken out by fodder pretty much. Ken-Chan came walking over to "A" (Juha Bach) while carrying some lower tier peeps on his back.

I'm not so sure the letters are based on power heirarchy. There was no such statement, unlike the Espada, and Kenpachi got stomped by Y, while stomping a bunch of earlier letters (including another Y).

A and B are definately the strongest, but that might just be a coincidence (at least in-story).

The more I think about it, the more I think the masked Quincy is going to be Masaki.. But then again, there's Bach's whole thing about pure blood Quincies, so maybe it'll just be Ishida's grandfather rebuilt as a robot with freeway on ramps for arms and a heart as black as coal..

Wouldn't the dead Quincy army be limited to Quincy that were killed by Shinigami or died in some other natural way? When hollows kill Quincies/Humans they consume their souls, so there's nothing really to pass "on." Thus, if grand fisher ate Masaki's soul (after her power was drained by Bach), then it couldn't be her in the mask.

It showed the three Stern Ritter's that got roasted by Yama alive and well in this chapter. Pretty funny considering he definitely killed the other one with just his shikai but those three aren't?

"B" was able to easily crush Ichigo's bankai without effort. It's lead me to believe that they really don't fear them but are just going for an overwhelming victory. If I remember correctly too, the one that got killed was of a lower tier (just basing off their assigned letters) than those two. We don't have anything to base their skills off of yet so I chalked it up to the speculation fire a while back.
