I don't know about Bach inhabiting Ishida's body, but Bach's been around awhile, right?

I don't see him simply stepping down and handing over authority to a more powerful Quincy. There's gotta be an angle.

Both lol. Answers why Uryuu was still alive while not being a pure-blood. Opens up to see if his father and other pure-bloods are down with Bach's cause or not. Also, I think at least, Uryuu being forced to show unquestionable loyalty was to be expected.

Nevertheless, there is still plenty of room to be Power of Friendshipped here OR they are gonna pull a Naruto type thing here. Bach is gonna pull an Orochimaru and take over Uryuu's body once his powers come to fruition. (gogo speculation spam!)

And it's not too far fetched. Seems to be supported by the evidence that Bach could use the body to leave the Vandereich forever, that he has some questionable intent towards Uyruu, and that Bach's 2nd in command is aware that this successorship isn't going to end well for Uryuu.

The angle:
1. Uryuu is the new Rukia.
2. Bach saying "Impossible! Even of the four royal families, only a select few have achieved Letzt Stil and they have gone on to play major roles in shaping the Vandenreich! Yeah, there's been nothing said yet about Bach's plan, people are just assuming it will be to take over Ishida's body. B's line about "even if he figures out what Bach's plan is" makes it sound like it'll be something against Ishida, but it could also refer to how he won't be able to run off to warn Ichigo or attempt to stop it since the other Sternritter will prevent him. I'm interested to see if Mayuri's surveillance devices are still working, and even if Ishida can't report anything, he knew he could still work to stop Bach.

Oh, on another note: Have we ever seen anyone with two swords Bankai?

Was speculating what Ichigo's bankai would look like with two swords.

Following this retcon, if we accept that Ichigo's Zanpakuto was White all along, and Bachgetsu was suppressing this power, then does the following make sense:

Ichigo in normal Bankai mode = White's bankai manifestation, suppressed by Bachgetsu.

Ichigo in viking god mode (full hollow mode) = Ichigo's true bankai, unsuppressed.

So now that Ichigo has two swords, and no suppression. Will his bankai be viking god mode? Or some combination of the two spirits? Or can he use Bankai with either one..

think there's only two known people with Twin Swords, This Badass, and the dude who's always sick. Neither of them have used their Bankai as of yet... As far as I know anyway.

Ya, that's what I thought. Just the way Shunsui talked about his swords made me think that his Bankai would be a seperate manifestation for each of them, and not some combined entity.

Aye, and as far as i know, the sickly fella only has 1 Sword when its not released, when in shikai, it becomes the two attached swords. He's the only one, besides Ichigo now, with two Blades when not released.

Though, his Bankai is apparently has a friendly-fire thing to it, as he was told not to release it where others could see during the Fake Karu town arc.
